So happy with this trade! A+ move by PJax. Love the Porzingis pick now all the more in combination. Plus we shed Hardaway, the exact type of player we don't want. Superb.
Watching that youtube breakdown, the thing I like the most about Grant's game is his ability to find teammates from posting up, in transition, and from driving and kicking out the ball. The last one has been absent from the offense for a long time. Can see Grant kicking out to an open Melo and Porzingis with much success.

Hardaway is a great player in a bad system. You will say wow....he didnt do that for us. Plus i wonder of the trade was a financial move. How many years Hardaway have left on his roookie contract?

can't be possible that a GM would make this trade.
THJ may do well away from the triangle, or he can stay really inconsistent with crappy defense.

Jerian Grant is LEGIT. I like him better than Mudiay. He's a totally underrated guard IMO. The kid can run a team and he can defend. Great size and length. Good athlete too. Just a real smart PG.

New ownership in Atlanta and Danny Ferry was let go. This is Budz's first draft.
Also, maybe a hedge that DeMarre Carroll is leaving to grab Timmy
Hardaway was 24 in a weak draft. Grant is a better overall player and we have him for longer. This was phils first win as a GM

you liked him better than mudiay? I though you were into mudiay for a while before you got a man crush on trill.
I've always liked Grant over Mudiay and I think he will be a much better player than him in the NBA. Stick him in China and he would have everyone going crazy.
