I was a big grant fan and the fact that we got him for a inconsistent defensive liability is terrific. Phil hasnt done well on trades but this is a great move
Yep, You got shved trade and this one, he is on a role.
Agreed. First move of his I'm 100% behind.

I'm not convinced they keep Shved with Galloway, Grant, Calderon

?
PG: Grant, Calderon, Galloway
SG: Shved, thanasis, ledo
Shved is the only efficient guard we have had this season, we have to retain him.
Talent accumultion. Also 2 character guys. Smart. Very smart

Shved is a PG.
Galloway is more of PG. And I think they'll sign a SG.

You are right about Shved- Gallo will stay.
You, and the OP are wrong about the trade being his first great move.
That took place at pick 4.

Shved can play in both positions.

Shved is a combo guard who plays more like a SG in this offense. He's not in the Fisher role. Phil can easily bring him back and continue his role for the team. He fits perfectly.
PG or SG Shved
PG or SG Grant
SF Melo
PF Zinger
C Monroe
That lineup alone is a major improvement. ....still got carroll...harris....west...Aldridge. ..cap for next year. Great job Zen master

No to Monroe. Too much defenisve issues with that Line up, we need a defensive anchor at the C spot.
Yea I hope shved is coming back
Grant,Galloway
Shved,Greek
Melo,early
Monroe,west
Kristap,?,?
If west comes he's a 6th man at this point in his career
We gotta get Jordan Mickey from a talent point of view
but
Pat Connaughton as a GREAT TEAM MATE and A GREAT PERSON, a team mate of Grant's, work ethic, practice player, and TOUGHNESS, a TRUE PROFFESIONAL
I think he would help our locker room greatly and even future development and young help guide young players with great HIGH IQ, GREAT STRENGTH, TOUGHENSS, DEFENSE, sort of a Delly with more skills for a G, SF, undersized PF...
We should be able to get one of Phillys picks to get him

I do not mind signing ONE YEAR deals rentals and using majority of cap space to acquire draft picks/young players, in order to preserve contracts for NEXT SEASON and sign 2-3 major FA's
However, I would try to get Nuggets and Houston to guarantee that we will suck more by doing certain moves, as it favors them because they both own our 1st rounder and 2nd rounder, so they will assist us to SUCK
Like David Lee, while retaining his bird rights, Gereld Wallace for future draft picks, and expirings, while we FOCUS on development and executing a system as we continue to build our bench but use our cap space next season with the rise of the cap to sign 2-3 MAJOR FA's
As we do not have any draft picks in 2016, maybe some early 2nd rounders in this draft, and mid late 2nd rounders...
Like Whiteside at a MAX *he would not command as much as he doesn't have many years of experience, even with the rise of the cap
Durant playing SG with a POST GAME
I like Monroe but I do see him as a poor defensive Center while being a solid OFF PLAYER and do not like the CA/MOnroe with CA at SF and Monroe at PF = 2 holes to expose
So
Grant
Durant
CA
KP
Whiteside
Galloway
Shabazzz Mahummud while taking some clearing some cap space for Twoves for expirings like Budinger
Thanasis
Jason Smith
Shved *though do not mind trading him if we can get assets either*
another vet min that was on our roster last season so we can have early bird rights if needed....
David Lee and pick 30 (Jordan Mickey)
Cost efficient contracts, letting the market dry up first
5 2nd rounders of some we stash
maybe look for steals with rest of cap space
Gereld Wallace for some picks in this draft and future drafts, maybe rental of Evan Turner
Schved is a career 35% shooter. He shot well in what 10 games as a Knick? Such a small sample size. In not a fan nor am I convinced he can keep that up. Again: he's been a horrid shooter his entire career.

exactly. Both him and galloway might have played over their heads a but, we shall see
I am actually glad THJ has finally been deliberated. I wish him all of the best. I hope he works on his defense and all around game; I hope he puts it all together by next season. I am not happy with the Pozingis pick, but I can leave with the Grant trade
