Not suggesting the quotes are verbatim. Melo pal'd around with other potential picks, I believe he was hoping for one of them to get drafted. Doesnt really matter what Melo felt as long as it doesnt affect team chemistry in a negative way, which I dont anticipate that it will.
The red flag for me not believing the SAS report was him saying that "according to sources Melo is will ton concede that it was all about the money". There is not an athlete still playing the game of any sport that would want that to get out or openly tell a reporter to say that. Especially when public perception is that he is about money more than anything.

Unless Melo was trying to see how much pushing he can handle, and injured his hip. You ever got on the court just to show out in front of somebody, but got injured in the process? Seems like Zinger wanted to impress NY and Phil.....and got injured. Then he wanted to impress Melo and got injured.

KP's brother said he was just lifting weights and working with the trainers getting therapy. I'm sure he can do some basic stuff, like shooting, but not go full tilt.
Melo has proposed marriage to KP, so that should put all the doubts to rest. I hear the engagement ring is dazzling.

It's gonna be a LOOOOOOONG offseason. Can't wait for it to be just about Basketball again. Summer League will be a nice break from the noise.
