well Calderon should create a $7.5m TPE enough to fit Bjelic. Also, wouldn't that basically create $15m or would Calderon's TPE count against the cap too? I guess it would since the $7.5m would again put the knicks under the cap even after they sign FAs.

Getting afflalo is an automatic F in the off season, especially for his asking price. David would be nice on less money but since it is unlikely then no.
I'm not for giving Affalo $10+ mil. I'd rather overpay for Green.

Yeah, I didn't really think that through. We could have a TPE if we used the room exception to go over the cap but otherwise the TPE servers no purpose that cap space wouldn't.
I would not mind Paul pierce and west as a veteran combo. Then Afallo and Monroe.
