Yup...just depends on if they want him and he's willing to take less than he was going to get.

We got him with part of the Felton trade exception, so we haven't really lost anything if we don't resign him.

we have shved bird rights. If he wants to stay in NY with the knicks. Phil can make it happen. After FA and using the cap room exception Phil can then sign Shved to a decent contract using his bird rights.

I hope you are right, but right now, it is best to assume for the worst. I have 0 confidence with our team in free agency and so far nothing should discourage me from having so.
