Phil is finishing up his morning yoga (west coast time) then his fung shway has to be right. LOL

With CA's contract and how much need HOLES TO phil (pun intended)

We NEED VALUE as well as talent, with players for Greg Monroe I would say about starting salary at about 14m and the TOP MAX should be 17.5m with raises
We can still build a team that can contend and still have enough salary to grab impact players after that in addition to the loophole of Cole Aldrich's early bird rights for the the FULL MLE, not sure about Acey still since we didn't offer him a QO but still own his bird rights

While teams continue to overpay for talent it limits options for us as well as other teams, as well as dictating the salary of other talents for instance Danny Green at about 11m *so should be less for Matthews who is older and coming off injury* as well as Ajincia if that is correct who would have been GREAT VALUE potential on getting better

Marc Stein
@ESPNSteinLine

Alexis Ajinca has struck a four-year, $20 million deal to stay in New Orleans 12m

would you like to see some triangle diagrams?

Exactly what I thought he'd get -- $5mm a year. Pels brought back a good player. I wish we could've sat down with him. Doesn't sound like we were ever interested.

I was interested in this guy and went to look at his stats.... and then wondered why he didn't get a lick of playing time during playoffs this past post season. Series was against GSW but still
