Way too crowded. Too many people to support. Meanwhile American veterans who are most deserving get short changed
To make this type of statement you will need to demonstrate or at least have a basic level knowledge of the following. Please provide feedback:
- what benefits are illegal immigrants enjoying and how much of that is a portion of the country's total cost?
- who are the Americans that can't live and don't enjoy their lives because of illegal immigrants?
- what benefits are those illegal immigrants providing for our country?
- how many illegal immigrants are coming into our nation per year?
- what cost do we spend at the current level of migration?
- what additional cost is necessary to curb the current level of migration?
- what additional $ are you willing to spend to curb the current level of migration?
- what taxes or cuts in other areas of the budget do you propose to raise enough money to curb illegal migration?
- what level of migration is tolerable?
- what is the cost to the nation if we curb migration? ie loss of productivity amongst the poorest level of jobs.
Guns, provide answers. You have do doubt thought about this a lot and have a very passionate position on it, but without realistic solutions and analysis to the problems, all you are doing is venting without thinking.
By the way, you set a very low level of racism when you compare the immigration laws of another country to that of our own presidential candidates. Literally, who cares? Why not compare Trump to some African dictator and then glow about how good a person Donald is?
Please don't give him any more posting ideas, martin.
We shall see. I think if Trump wins far more Americans will benefit. Especially the hardworking poor, middle and upper middle classes. Trump is not in this for the money. He doesn't have to cater to the top 1%. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but I truly believe he is intent on making us great again. The issues are as clear as day. We don't need a rocket science or even a Neurologist to right the wrong. We just need a true leader with little to no ulterior motives. I'm excited about the prospects of a better life for every American. Trump will do a lot more for the less fortunate hard working Americans and vets than another socialist or extreme leftist will do. Even racial tension will subside once new jobs are created and businesses go back to doing business in their own back yards. More jobs, more means and less time for violent crimes and pointless uninformed protests

So anyone who just repeats "I'll make America great again" has your vote? Again, it's all rhetoric and you seem to have a low bar for your vote for Presidency.
What's his plan? Thus far Trump has proven himself to be an entertainer and a reality show host. How has he proven himself?
The governing of a country and the navigation of that country in the context of world policies is extremely difficult. Look at how the dolt George W left America: much worse than when he got it. You indeed do need someone with a plan, intelligence, support group of experienced people around him/her.
Guns, I am disappointed in your political posts. You don't answer questions or even make an attempt to address a response. All it is is bluster.
What is a true leader BTW?
Guns, if you're going to quote TR, this book might interest you. Best biography Ive ever read, won the pulitzer prize. Might help you see things less in terms of left or right wing.

A true leader of its people can't be bought Martin. A true leader has his heart set on improving everyones quality of life not just the group of people he is politically tied to and helped him and future Presidents get elected.
By he way I victim of burglary from a homeless recently. A very significant loss. Why is their such a rise in homeless in the United States?
There is this gross misconception that electing people like Obama means that there will be more taken from the extremely rich and spread around to the poor but the opposite happens because nothing is be done to spot the corruptness at the state level, rent, tax, insurance hikes etc. That is why you need a strong willed leader at the top

By your own definition Trump is the opposite of a true leader. Let's be clear: Trump has a load of money but he is being bought by the networks, he is a reality show host, and his wealth is predicated in part by that.
You let me know how Trump but has his heart set on improving everyone's quality of life, the plans to do it and the trail of accomplishments that have defined your definition of leadership.
A true leader also leads by example, is honest, is straight-forward. A true leader has values, has a plan, has a vision. Trump has none of those.
The dude was a conspiracy theory nutjob who was touting birther crap and Muslim crap to our own President. This is your version of a leader Guns?
BTW, still waiting for you to reply about your thoughts on immigration. Deporting 11 million people is not a plan nor is it even remotely realistic. Building a stupid fucking wall is more of the same.

What is the rate of homelessness in this country? What has it been over the last 15 years, year-by-year?
BTW, what is Trumps plan vis-a-vis his strong willed leadership personality to help with inequality? Any detail?

Under Obama 92 percent of all income gains went to the top one percent. Not one high level executive has been put in jail for the massive fraud that collapsed the economy. His Justice dept has given out fines instead of jail time for corporate criminality which amounts to pennies on the dollar. "Obamacare" came out of a Heritage Foundation proposal. Obama opened up drilling all over the coastal US right after the biggest oil spill in US history. Even Bush couldnt get that done. Obama admitted that he wanted to be another Ronald Reagan. The tax rolls are the lowest they have been since the Eisenhower administration. He extended the deficit exploding Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Obama got reelected for a reason and its not because the powers that be were worried that he was a wealth redistributor from the wealthy to the poor. They kept him in the White House because he made them even richer and kept them out of jail.
so nothing concrete Guns? Just bluster and images?
gunsnewing wrote:Nothing is concrete yet
Nothing? You have offered nothing about what Trump stands for or been able to defend him in any way, and yet you would vote for him.
The man is truly awful. Same with Carson. Those dudes are just promoting themselves to up their speaking fees and TV shows, nothing more nothing less. They ain't running for office, they running for eyeballs. Berman or Isola and clickbait via the political media and fake run for office.
I think its hilarious that people think Trump's wall will do absolutely anything to slow the tide of illegal immigrants and/or illegal drugs. You have the #1 cartel boss in Mexico tunneling out of a supermax prison. If a wall goes up it just means more tunnels, or some other way of getting across. How about sailing around the border and getting dropped off somewhere along the CA coast? Its desolate for miles. Its basic demand. People want to come here, they WILL get here. Ways will be devised. A wall will only make it more dangerous and more costly for everyone involved. To stop immigration and drug smuggling you need to get at the root causes.
Remember they found a catapult in Mexico flinging bales of pot over the fence? Americans demand more drugs than any other nation. IE: Drugs WILL ENTER the country. Making it harder does nothing but raise the price which lines the cartels pockets and incentivizes better smuggling techniques.
Trump's "solution" to immigration are so beyond the pale stupid and not realistic that Im literally shocked anyone takes it seriously. I guess the whole country is lobotomized at this point. Bleh. Whatever we get who we deserve.
The wall has worked in other parts of the world

Guns, ten years ago I thought very much like you did about illegal immigration. As a matter of fact in the late 90s, my car was totaled with me in it. I was in the middle of a multi car crash that was caused by an undocumented worker. If the woman in the car behind me had hit me flush, both of my legs would have been broken, or worse. I was lucky to walk away. The guy who caused it had no license, no insurance, and was here illegally. He and his buddy were sitting on the ground, about to be cuffed, laughing their asses off at the top of their lungs while paramedics were checking on the passengers. Its not what formed my opinion on illegal immigration, but it did reinforce it.
What I didnt know a decade ago was the effect that the NAFTA trade agreement had on Mexico. I knew that it shuttered more than 50k US factories, some of them moving to Mexico. What I didnt know was that it also put millions of Mexican farmers out of work. Thats a big reason why we've seen such an influx over the last 20 plus years. In addition, you may or may not know that US corporations for years turned a blind eye and hired thousands of undocumented workers, like food processors. This is where you should lay the blame for all these undocumented workers living in the US. They made millions of people desperate enough to want to uproot themselves. Immigrants arent coming just from Mexico but that's the main entry point.
The thing about all those undocumented workers living here is that we will need them to help move this country into the future. America's population is getting older. Tens of millions of baby boomers are going to be retiring in the coming years, these immigrants are going to help pay the taxes, social security, medicare, pay for much needed repair to infrastructure and govern, as Latinos will be the majority in 50 years or so.
We need to monitor the border with high tech equipment, try to keep undocumented workers out, but a wall is overkill. Frankly, a wall can be used to keep people out, and keep people in. Would hate to see a wall going up along the borders of our country. Sounds very East German.

Maybe Trump can run for president in one of those parts. Please.
Wow, really funky to read anti-Obama stuff on this board. The chickens have come home.
