Jaques Vaughn never really gave this kid a real chance so this could really be a good pickup for us.

but why would orlando only play him sparingly? it's not like there was a lot of talent blocking him.

Because Jaques Vaughn was a horrible head coach.

From Queens, and is tough. Can play both 4 and 5 and is a willing defender and surprisingly good passer.

Hmmm. His opponent production according to 82games.com is high, meaning the man he's guarding puts up good stats. That gives me a little less certainty but I still think it's a good gamble for this price.

Where can I see that stat by the way?

It's the NBA Player Tracking data. You can go to this link but then you have to organize it by name and keep advancing the page to get to him. I'm looking at the far right column.

I did post some info. from 82games.com that's a little concerning about him but I still think it's a good buy.

I like him, solid IMO, who plays better as an undersized Center than PF, unless our Center can spread the floor like if KP develops along with AB
Finally at least a player that has value

I am VERY excited about how this guy will help us. He seemed like a sleeper when we played the magic.

Phil really transforming this team from last year. Just filling up the roster with solid players. No sex appeal. Just really solid additions to the roster.

Very solid Underrated signing.

Good signing. He gives us front court depth.

This is the move that you feel has value over the other moves Phil has made? I mean we should like O'Quinn but he's not the only good value we've gotten this summer. This FA has been mostly good value so far. One player who may have been paid more than some like doesn't offset all the other moves.

Looks like a solid signing. Phil has really restocked the team. We still need a backup SG, but team is a lot more talented and balanced.

Thanks for video. Was it me or did he have trouble getting off the ground? Hopefully good on D. trying to stay positive on these signings? Anyone know if and when we will go after some guys from last year?

D Will is higher risk but also higher upside. He's a former #2 and has tons of untapped talent. The trick is can we get him to play up to his potential or at least close to it. He's flashed that great potential so let's hope we can get him right.

Bizzaro world... The Knicks with all these serviceable and sensible signings....

He's not an explosive jumper but he's got long arms.
