He had the Knicks at 30 the last time he did his rankings.
I'm going to regret this, because you always regret summer optimism over the Knicks, but they seem like they're going to be pretty good, for being the Knicks. Kristaps Porzingis has looked good in Summer League, their free agency signings were smart and reasonable for once, and they seem to really be committed to a patient and long-term plan. It's a good thing they didn't keep Carmelo Anthony, I mean where would he fit in all ... Oh. Right.

When I first saw the LAC logo in the power rankings I thought it was Detroit

Wow. When did they change their logo? Also, the Heat and OKC jumped 15 places on his rankings.
Teams that dropped the most, Blazers, Mavs and the Raptors.
19 sounds about right, close to the top end of the bottom half of the league.
I think Vegas predicted us at around 31 wins, which is pretty spot on as well.
Personally, I can see with the free agent additions and rookie infusion a jump from 17 wins to double or greater.
35-40 wins is a very realistic attainable goal.
If Melo comes in feeling great I think they overachieve.
Melo is probably gonna waive his no trade clause if Knicks are bad next season.
There are some difficult to gauge factors for this team. I think they will definitely improve but just how much depends on
1. The health and performance of Melo
2. How all these parts come together as a group.
3. How much we get from our young players.
So far I like what Fish has done to make things easier for his players to do things they are good at in terms of playing faster and PnR/P plays. That should really help the team to be able to function at a higher level early on.
RoLo and O'Queens are here mostly for their defense and rebounding, but are also solid team players on offense. Afflalo can contribute to being a #2 scorer for Melo and who knows what DWill will do for sure? At least we know he can bring a power game in terms of attacking the rim.
The Kids are the X Factor. Jerian, KP, Early etc will have to be contributors. If they continue to show the same kind of confidence in the regular season we should be in very good shape. IMO they look more ready to contribute than I think many originally thought.
He hates the Knicks and bashes them at every opportunity, so it's surprising he's rated us so high. He also gave us an A- for our free agency moves.

Did Dolan buy CBS?

great one
This seems fair. I think the Knicks will be fighting the Celtics, Pacers, Pistons for the final playoffs seed if they have a good enough season.
Knicks have proven nothing... based on the talent/roster saying they are among the best of the bottom 3rd is fair. Who cares.. all these guys throw turds at the wall. At least I only throw my own
