ITs a PITA to copy and paste because there are tweets and new generational crap I cant bother to keep up with. Give it a read.. its short and sweet and has real info, as opposed to how Marc Berman or Frank Isola "feel."

this was particularly beautiful:

In other news, Melo took a break from maybe, possibly not wanting to be a Knick so he could work out...with a bunch of Knicks:

Classic reverse-psychology at work here: show how dissatisfied you are with the Knicks roster by working with them in the offseason to build cohesion. And why haven't you worked out with Jerian Grant yet, huh? HUH? HUH? HUH?

Knicks rookie point guard Jerian Grant also has worked out with Anthony.
...
"He's been a great, great leader — he's the star, but at the same time one of the guys,'' Jerian Grant said. "He's been working out with us. He's welcomed me with open arms.''
...

I'm on to you, Melo, you slick son of a bitch.

It should come as no surprise that Sasha Vujacic joined Melo in mentoring the youngsters -- he undoubtedly wants to get close to Porzingis and siphon off some of his groupies.

This is going to be fun!

Even tho Melo isn't a vocal leader, there is still a lot he can do the help show the young guys how to prepare and develop chemistry. Same goes for Guys like Vujacic and Jose. True team leaders are hard to come by but if you can get some hard working vets who have experience and can take younger guys under their wing it can still be very positive.

The fact that KP has Euro players on his team, and his teammate drafted in the 2nd round. Every move is setup for KP to really become a star. All he has to do is put in the work, and limit the distractions from the city that never sleeps.

Already sounds like he's not all that in to distractions, even when he's in Latvia. He complained about too much crap going on over there.

What I love about KP6 is that he really is all about basketball. He wants to be great. He's not just happy to be in the league. He went into SL and took it seriously. He wasn't looking to jack up shots and try to impress people. He was trying to play the game the right way and gain experience. He could've been way more aggressive but he was playing team ball and he was fighting on D. If he puts in the work in the Gym to get stronger it could really help him on the boards and in the post.
