Just don't get hurt!

He's probably our 2nd leading scorer this season.
Sounds like Afflalo was invited because he lives in Vegas. Hopefully next year he goes to the summer league to help lead the future WKnicks and is praised for his character.
Great for Double A, he deserves and please stay healthy.

Was thinking the same exact thing. Not even crazy about Melo playing to be honest--I'm sure the Knicks aren't either..
Last thing we need is a "Paul George" situation happening to either Me7o or Afflalo.
The fact that we're without a draft pick this season compounds this, so those 2 guys are probably the players that are our only shot at fielding a competitive team this year.
If any of those 2 somehow are out for any amount of time, kiss any semblance of a building block season and remote possibility of playoff berth bye bye.

Exactly. I agree--not worth the risk...I wonder if (better yet--to what extent) the Knicks tried talking these two outta going...Another thing to consider--it's time to win. Not a finished product, there's more building to do before we get to where we wanna go--but the objective is now to win as many games as possible from here on in. We've got our 1st rounder going to Toronto next summer--I'd hate to just hand over a premium pick to a division rival because we don't have our shit together. They're already arguably better than us and a top pick will make them that much more of a force to overcome in the Atlantic Division/Eastern Conference moving forward.
