did you expect him to look bigger than him??
Where's a pick of Gasol at 18? Willie looks pretty strong for a 2016/17 rookie

Willy looks like he is 6-8
we should have picked Powell - he is 10 foot 2.

Looks to me like kid is crouched playing defense while the old man is standing upright
By the way neither player have pants on. I'm not even sure if they have legs at all. Clearly you can see that from the picture.
Looks like Willy is crouched down a little. But Pau is 7'1 and Willy is listed at 6'11 i think so seems about right.
They both need more iron in their diets. They look pretty grey and zombie-like. Except for Pau's fingers - which might be glowing from the light of the dragonball.
This looks like a new version of....
"Love and Basketball"
"White Men Can Jump"
"Hollywood Husbands"

Okay, rest your weary head, here is a picture of him next to a 6'8 guy.

Then again Martin was only 6'4.

Kenyon Lee Martin (born December 30, 1977) is an American retired professional basketball player who played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played for the New Jersey Nets, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA, and the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of China. The 6'9" power forward played college basketball for Cincinnati before being drafted with the first overall pick in the 2000 NBA draft by the New Jersey Nets.
The photo also shows Pau at his full height, pressing into Willie.
I'm also thinking that Hernangomez has his legs spread and is squatting a bit to create a base. Nobody stands up straight defending a guy trying to back you down, and Willie is pushing back into Pau. You can see where each player's shoulder/hips alignments are. Willie is not standing up straight.
Not hard to look up his height, anyway, Briggs...you know this.
Year Source Height w/o Shoes Height w/shoes Weight Wingspan Standing Reach 2013 Eurocamp 6' 9.5" 6' 11" 255 7' 1.5" 9' 1"
These measurements were from 2 years ago. Maybe he grew .5 inches??
He is not the same height as Gasol, anyway. And nobody thought he was.

Sarcasm. I even used a smiley face.
OK BRIGGS no more panic threads for the rest of 2015. You have to have broken a record for starting the most threads with an undertone of panic. Each one ends up being much ado about nothing. It's making you sound like Chicken Little.

Actually I think he's closer to 6'4 than 6'9.....But he plays like hes 7'3 a few inches doesn't matter to me, as long as you play bigger than your size.
They cut the picture off at the waist, because they were doing some 50 shades of Grey re-enactment amirite!

But, but Pau is taller -- world is ending.
Guys Briggs doesn't like are always listed at their height in socks. Guys Briggs like are listed with their height in fuck me pumps.
