Knicks · Durantua Mania!! (page 1)

OKC has the Dilema. IF his foot is bad He'll want to sign sooner than later.
If his foot is great They will want him to resign sooner than later. If he balks, they will trade him. Fan backlash is one thing but to let an asset walk is another. He'll want those bird rights tool.

He, like Melo has the option of not resigning with anyone and absorbing the risk. He'll take a smaller deal if he leaves OKC but he can force a sign and trade for his rights to move. He can control his way to a contender by walking free and empowering a team to contending status. Yes, a free Durant can come here (we'd have to move some pieces)and play with Melo and KP. A vet Minimum Kobe can join the party too!!!

A lot has to happen before any such fantasy can be pieced together and I by no means suggest this is a rumor or likely.

We have a less than 0 chance of signing Durant.

I'd say 3% chance. Why? Cuz anything is possible.
no doubt stars usually stay put for many reasons and OKC seems to be a pretty good franchise even if the owner is evil.

Its gonna come up as might westbrook as well. Billy Donovan is a very good coach and his move to the pro's adds an interesting twist.
Would they trade Westbrook to LA for Deangelo Russell? Would you trade (forget contracts for a moment) KP for KD? Naturally you get KD (foot and all) a proven commodity vs. KP unknown upside. Im gonna guess will have to trade more than KP, but lets just stay there for concept.

Just a discussion point, not my hope.
