This version of Kobe is a good one. He owns his performance. I respect it.

Loved it, it's a player that respects the game and owns up to playing like shiiit, and not living off his pass.

mreinman @ 11/2/2015 4:41 PM
he should just own up and also stop playing like an idiot. Saw one replay where he dribbled the ball for 12 seconds with his pack to the basket and then clanked a turn around off the side of the back board. It was pretty sad.
holfresh @ 11/2/2015 4:53 PM
Jabari Parker cleared to play..

That team is going nowhere as presently constituted, so Kobe isn't ending his career with a title.

Why not play selflessly and set the kind of example that inspires others on the team. Is the way he's playing now the way he wants folks to remember him?

Good to be self-critical...better to be critical of how you play and make beneficial changes to your game.

sixers are up on cleveland 20-15

they may stink and have zero talent in the back court but they are sure fun to watch with their pace. Pretty much like houston, all threes and close 2's. Very few mid range shots.

update: end of 1st - 32-18 philly. Noel looks like a gem.

Noel should've been rookie of the year in my honest opinion. Noel and Jahlil will look much better with a PG. I like Canaan, but he's not a natural playmaker.

everyone can laugh at Hinkie but he's is building this slowly and smartly.

I agree with slowly. He had to waive a few of his second rounders that wanted to come to camp rather than develop somewhere else. The best thing about Philly is you can get seats at any game you want.

Hah, like the Nets last season in NJ. Might'be been the most pro basketball games I went to in any one season.0

Harden was great tonight. He likes playing against okc
newyorknewyork @ 11/3/2015 12:02 AM
Steve Kerr hasn't coached a game yet during the reg season and the Warriors are just toying with teams.
smackeddog @ 11/3/2015 3:52 AM
Wow, Grizzlies got destroyed by 50pts- hopefully if they have a bad season, Mike Conley may be obtainable in the offseason as he's an unrestricted FA

29. Philadelphia 76ers (last week: 27): The worst offense in the league, despite a fun start to Jahlil Okafor's career, and a defense nearly as bad, despite the presence of Nerlens Noel. Maybe the offense can approach functional after point guards Tony Wroten and Kendall Marshall get healthy; it wouldn't be the Sixers if we weren't waiting for something.

yeah ... the sixers stink. I know. They have no guards but I still enjoy watching them build. They gave cleveland a run yesterday.

no rush. within a year or 2 they will hopefully have a couple of decent guards.

PJ Hairston is available because he wasn't extended by the hornets. Having seen Phil's moves this summer (and knowing that he had worked out for the knicks last year) I think the knicks should go for a trade. Specifically Seraphin for PJ.

The most likely case scenario we are going to let seraphin walk and with Hermangoza (sp) in spain next year as a big replacement for Seraphin why not take a flyer on another 2 guard now?

His agent claimed Phil loved him in the run up to that draft- maybe it was BS. Unfortunately he has looked like trash and seems to get plumper by the season. I wanted to trade Tim Jr for him, but boy am I glad we didn't!

His defense has improved I hear and he is starting for them. He was also known as a multifaceted scorer before the draft and due to an injury hasn't even gone through 82 games. I'm not sure if he's nice but Charlotte passing on him so early seems like a legit mistake because he could very likely have upside.

mreinman @ 11/3/2015 8:59 PM
charlotte killing chicago. Chicago's is a weird team
