Comes from the article, and I suppose it applies to some of the headlines that annoy us, too:
I wrote a story on him for the Sacramento News and Review after he signed his current contract. Per normal, I didn’t write the headline, “$64 million-dollar baby.”
So it would seem that a writer can't even use their own headline for what they write. Expect that this is why some of the articles you read in NY papers are not as bad as the headlines they are given.
So glad it is a new season.

Carlisle was trying to call every play on offense..I can see how that can be disruptive to an improvisational player like Rondo..U need a long leash with guys like Rondo..

Yeah, Rondo never would've worked in the Triangle - but you can see why I coveted him in the off-season. The guy is skilled and can orchestrate an offense to perfection.
I feel like Rondo / Melo / KP could've been a little like Rondo / Pierce / KG in how it worked. But that's not Triangular.
Rondo is such a mercurial personality, it'd be tough. But I think the guy is wildly talented.

Rondo has sucked for a number of years. We gonna blame all of them on Carlisle?
Nets/Warriors is a really good game.

Nets had this game. The back court violation and then the missed shot by Lopez. Man to win in Oracle when you have only won one game would have been huge.
