-Last season in Hockey the Islanders and Rangers both had very good seasons and made the playoffs
-Mets have had a great season so far in baseball, Yankees are playoff bound
-Giants look like the favorite to take the NFC east, Jets look like a playoff bound team so far
-Nets made the playoffs last season have potential to do so again, Knicks will surprise and earn a playoff spot???
Giants defense is back up where it belongs. All the other NFC teams are shambles. Cruz comes back soon, running game on track...Reuben Randle on the rise...what's not to like. We should take NFC East easily.
I can see Cowboys losing the next 6 games.

If we could get any type of pass rush we could take it to even a higher level. But our run defense, & CB coverage has been awesome (if you forget the 2 fourth quarter drives). We still can't cover TEs to save our lives. But I love the toughness and discipline of the defense so far.
On offense the west coast seems to be fitting Eli perfectly. But some of the play calling has been horrendous. Y are we doing screens to Ruben Randle and Donnell instead of to Odell, Harris, Vereen who are actual play makers. Vs Washington we moved Odell all over the field to create opportunities to him but didn't seem to do that to much vs Bills. Its like we only want to get him the ball if its on a deep route. Lets get the ball in his hands on screens and underneath routes in motion and let him make plays.
The Jets are much improved. They should get stronger as the season progresses. They'll be getting Sheldon Richardson back, which should make the defense even tougher. Only wish we had a better QB. Fitzpatrick is an OK game manager. He has a noodle arm tho which is wasting some of our offensive potential. Still good to be 3-1. They should be 4-0 but i'm very happy with 3-1.

If we had even a Brees, Rivers or similar, we'd be in position to challenge the Patriots for the division. Sadly, the defense is going to have to carry this team this year. Here's hoping at 9-7 or 10-6 this season, before we finally unleash the Bryce next season!

If one of Ivory Marshall or Decker go down for a lengthy period--we are screwed. Thats scary to say in football. We dont really have plug and play back ups. Powell hasnt been good this year and the back up WR are horrible with 0 TE.

I'm not gonna talk about injury cuz of course that is a huge factor for just about any NFL team. Maccagnan is doing what he can to keep bringing in players and his picking up Dion Bailey was a great move that paid off Sunday. We have a lot of younger guys behind Marshall and Decker. It's gonna take them some time to learn and get better, but they do have talent. It's really going to be up to the defense to continue to get better and lead the way. Fitzpatrick ain't getting any better so that's a limiting factor on the offense cuz we don't have that deep threat.
jets? they are not going to do much this season. :) they faced softies browns, terrible offense colts, terrible eagles and terrible dolphins.
redskins prediction - loss
@patriots - loss
@raiders - loss
jags - win
bills thursday night fooball - win or loss
texans - win
dolphins - win
@giants - loss
titans - loss
@cowboys - win
patriots - loss
@bills - loss
my prediction - max 5 more wins...not enough to make wildcard.
giants record could be similar but they'll win the division.

You may be underestimating the Jets Defense. They should actually get stronger from here on. They aren't on full tilt yet. Sheldon Richardson coming back could be huge. Less time for QB's to get off and a top secondary. I don't think they're only gonna win 5 more games.
The Liberty!!!!! UGGGH!!!!
When Isiah wants film of the team, do the assistants get nervous??

Hopefully Kennard isn't lost for an extended time. Don't these pro athletes stretch after workouts?

Its not exactly the "Too Funky" George Michael video.

I'm going to have to fix your prediction the jets defense is arguably the best in the nfl
Redskins.. Easy win over Kirk cousin
Pats will be close but a toss up loss
Raiders- are you kidding me our defense will crush oak win for sure
Jags win
Bills- a aweful giants defense exposed them so I can only imagine what a top defense will do jets crush bills for another win
Texans- win
Dolphins-win
Giants- our defense will destroy there weak offensive line- easy win
Titans - are you kidding me easy win
Cowboys- win
Patriots at home win
@bills should be a win but I'll give it a loss as we sit our starters for playoffs
I'd have to say we play a lot of bad or beat up teams
Jets our playoff bound this year! That's pretty easy to see
The losses to the raiders,Giants,and Titans, bills won't happen if our defense remains healthy
With Sheldon coming back we have by far the best front seven in the league paired with a top secondary..
The jets aren't just making the playoffs we are distant to make a splash in the playoffs. As long as Fitzpatrick keeps playing the Trent D and ivory keeps running like a man possessed.. I see 2003 Ravens all over this team

I think teams have lost when going to europe.
I have not looked at the box score to see if the nets played their starters much and if they were really engaged in a rotation to win. The team they played is usually a top contender in the euroleague and if playing as a unit with a good rotation it makes sense they won. Berman fanned the flame. I don't think its a big deal.

Brees will be a Jet next year. Makes all the sense in the world for both teams
Don't forget the Red Bulls! Best team in the area along with the Rangers
