Exactly.

TRUE!!! This is what some of us have been saying for a while now. With guys he trusts Melo will pass. This is a STRONG roster. Not the big sexy names but solid guys who can play.

Yeah and the guy most all think sucks is looking pretty damn good to in J.Calderon.
Wasnt so much that Calderon sucked, more that he was two steps too slow since he got here.
Yeah that happens when you're injured.
Calderon was too slow before he got hurt. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
Well he is a old white guy so he's kinda supposed to be slow but the point is that he doesn't suck like 95% of the people on here say he does.
Posters are going on what they've seen since he's been here. Most posters know he is one of the best 3pt shooters in the league when healthy. Calderon wasnt in great shape when he first got here, then he got hurt. He was part of a big trade and for whatever the reason, he hasnt delivered. Understandable IMO that some posters weren't high on Calderon. Hopefully he stays healthy because his 3pt shooting could come in real handy.

KOQ BLOCKED
Nice to see Williams taking it to the rim, want to see more of that.
See this is where DWill can be a threat. He's too quick for a lot of bigs.
I do like williams athletic ability. Seems motivated
D Will is looking like he could play the JR Smith role for us. The role of a dynamic scorer off the bench.
GustavBahler wrote:Nice to see Williams taking it to the rim, want to see more of that.
Seems to be able to do it at will.
So far so good for a guy I was not too happy getting.
Maybe Phil knew something I did not.
I do like our depth especially in the frontcourt. Just gotta be better defensively
Oquinn is all over. Gonna be a fan favorite

The price tag was his biggest drawback considering his production vs where he was picked in the draft. I doubt we would have cared much otherwise.

I don't know about dynamic but he can do some scoring.

I agree. I think he already is. He also is a great locker room guy.
What I find exciting is that this team looks like they can be competitive this season yet we have only seen glimpses of KP's ability. On top of that Grant and Porzingis have logged little PT together. They're the future, the sooner they're on the same page the better.

Yeah, we bid against ourselves for D-Will. He's scoring well tonight, but I'd still like to see him be more aggressive on the defensive backboard .
