4-18 and only 1 assist. NO GOOD.
he did move the ball to guys who missed shots but that happens to everyone. He also forced way too many shots against a good boston defense.
This melo is not a recipe for winning. Not at all.
Guys were simply not making shots. I thing they were conserving themselves to avoid injuries
He was consistently trying on defense which is nice but he hasn't changed a bit. His shot selection was atrocious in this game.

agreed. 1 assists and 4-18? Can't he create to pass ever?
Melo is rusty...Seem a step slower as well..Can't worry about his shooting tho..I'm more worried about his physical well being..I hope it's just rust..Even when he was draining shots early in the preseason he didn't look smooth and loose..
Melo is mental midget.
If his shots are falling from get go he is playing very well, start sharing the ball and such...
If he is not starting right he is getting uneasy and trying to shoot himself back into the game.
Player can try to change his game but no one can change his mind.
Melo will be what he is no matter what.

I was a bit disappointed, When Melo is on fire he was moving the ball a litle bit more and his defense was pretty good. Anyway, If his coaches really have the authority to point him out when is playing bad, we should see a little bit more improvement.

Good luck to Fisher on that... He have to be the first to accomplish that... or else he will be gone as all previous Melo coaches who all failed in this.

Fisher not taking Melo out when he is doing things like this or having a word with him is a bit concerning. Well it was just one preseason game. Let's see if he can build from this.

Ok.

I disagree.
Melo is Melo.
I see him playing up close for 4 years.
And he always same.
Mentally and physically.
He is just perfect definition of WUSIWYG player.

Melo is fat and a clown. Knicks are in a Kobe situation here because their star player is too slow and too old but they can't get rid of them because, well, they are the star player.
Melo is Melo but he's not the best thing about the Knicks.

Pretty much. Last game of preseason and still trying to shake off rust? WTF?
Never brings anything else to the table if his shot is off. Go grab 10 boards or dish out assists would be what the greats would do if their shot's off. Play great D and stop letting Crowder out play you.
Nope. Do the opposite. Chuck it up some more!

We wish to put trust in Melo all we want but he's better off elsewhere. Fans still trying to rely on a rusty engine...
Give it up. He's long in the tooth and he's not the best thing about the Knicks. I wouldn't shed any tears if he were gone. Melo is fat and a clown.

Agreed.
Phil has to convince him to waive the No Trade Clause first though.

If Melo will slow down (he was not really fast before) we are in trouble.
He will still do well against inferior defenders and defenses.
We sow this in this preseason.
NBA is getting faster so Melo has no chance unless he will get smarter.
Not sure zo if there are any methods to grow some brains...

Melo is on the same level as Paul Pierce and Paul Pierce is no longer treated as a superstar player. Pierce went from being deadly to a mere role player. He's just another guy to fill out the roster because he's friendly with the coach. Pierce is on his way out and so is Melo.

When Melo was shopping around for a team, he should have gone with Houston (or even the Lakers)
It is starting to seem like some people wait for Melo to have a bad game so they can talk bad about him. I had no problem with his game tonight. He just did not make the shots. He played the same exact way he did at the start of the preseason with the only exception that he and others were bricking shots.

Melo is poison. That's all.
