Nice energy with Jerian, Melo, Lopez n KP!!! That's the lineup I wanted to see! Get Afflalo back and I think that should be the starting lineup!
Melo has had a great half. 18 points on 8 shots with 2 assists and and a couple of nice passes. He has taken bad shots but when Melo is on he is on. I hope calederon and Sasha are going to be benched for the rest of the game.

I'm still not sold on Grant starting. Refs will allow him to get mauled for a while, and he'll get into foul trouble early in almost every game. You can bet on it. I'm still leaning more towards Gallo starting.

very nice half. Want to see lots of passing. We know that he can get hot. Want him to become a better player so that he can be a positive contributor regardless of whether he is hot or not.

I agree. I think Gallo would probably get the starting position over Grant. I don't think anything changes for awhile.

The kid just needs to play against the better guards so he can adjust to their speed. He's looking more confident now after seeing how much energy he needs to come with. I think he can make the adjustment if given a chance.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I got nothing against Grant. I like what I'm seeing from him. But those two little issues I pointed out will cause problems, there's no doubt about it. And it has nothing to do with whether he's up to speed or not, it has to do with the fact that he would be the ROOKIE STARTING PG for the Knicks. Let him keep running the point for Unit 2 for a while.

I'm not anti Gallo, just like what Jerian brings overall. I think when he's aggressive he does more of what we need from the starting PG IMO.
This s precisely what I don't like about Fisher. I don't believe he is a quick learner. It has been evident since last season that Calderon is not a defender, why not just bring him off the bench? It is one thing if he wer able to speed up the tempo and produce on offense. But that is not the case. When you give 20 points to the opposing PG and only score 8 points yourself, you don't deserve to play a lot of minutes
