Incredible! I'm glad we didn't end up with Russell or Okafor. Even though pick #1 would have been better, falling from 2 to 4 may have been a gift.
How sure are you Towns will be better than Porzingis in 3 years? Porzingis has superior lateral mobility, length and shooting range. Towns has a better iso game, more physically ready now. I like Porzingis as the best potential in the draft and it seems increasingly likely he could realize it. Let's see where the chips fall.
I agree. Porzingis has been fantastic and has gone beyond my expectations so far. Great pick.

Point is, I think sooner rather then later KP should be anchoring the middle ... And Rolo has been very underwhelming in the starting unit ... I'd rather see the starting pg pass it in to O'quinn then Lopez. O'quinn has better passing ability out of the post, I like O'quinns offensive game better and he's a rebounding beast.
Let's hope it's a point of acclimating himself to the season, or the results of a lagging injury. If Rolo goes to the second unit, we should look to trade him. We're already overpaying Calderone, and he's getting early votes to be dropped from the rotation. Let us not get into the habit of keeping under performers.

I think Lopez brings a lot to the table. I love the way he plays and I think he has good chemistry with KP. The guy seems to be able to box out three guys at once. Seems like that would be a guy you want on the court and that he might help someone like KP build up his rebounding numbers. Also, the Spurs are long and O'Quinn's lack of height was evident last night when he was guarding Duncan and Aldridge.

Another I really like that Walt adressed is how much confidence and motivation he incites to everyone rooting for the Knicks, including for the players. The crowd roars with excitement and suddenly the players feel a lot more urgency to get back into the game or to preserve a lead. Great player.
Yeah, the rebounding is astonishing. He has 33 rbs in 4 games (95 min). I was worried it was going to take him like 3 weeks to grab 33 NBA rebounds.
Yeah it is really great stuff how he is improving. Once he gets that killer instinct and finally puts it together we are looking at probably one of the most unguardable players in NBA history

Rebs have been up and down a bit - hoping it settles into a more consistent pattern, he needs to be more agressive on boards like the spurs game

Thanks. I'm still here. I took a break in the off-season.

Where's the video of that kid crying on draft night after the KP announcement? LOL.
His performance against the Spurs was great especially great for a rook playing in his 4th game. He develops a hook shot and he may be unstoppable on O.
PresIke@ 11/4/2015 7:22 AM
As one who wanted us to draft him, feeling good about that, but more excited about what we're seeing on the floor.
Looking like he could be our best pick since Ewing.

Yea! KP is the most exciting player to happen to the Knicks since Ewing, can you imagine what KP will be like at 24, he might be unstoppable!

could go down as the best Knick draft ever. Imagine if KP reaches the potential we are all drooling over AND Grant becomes a high caliber lead guard? Wow.
So nice to finally have a PG that can break you down off the dribble AND defends. His long shoot needs to improve but damn, if this draft and FA crop doesnt inspire some confidence in this GM than you just need to go away.
We did really good with these young players. Just stay healthy and work hard boys. The rest takes care of itself.

at this point he seems to be an easy upgrade over Seraphin.
I still don't understand the praise Seraphin got when we signed him; I can tell you his exact moves: Get ball in post. Look around. Shoot the ball. Every time.

That and they said on the telecast he's 280!!! Fat as phuck. Probably why he's injured all the dam time.
Willy is 250, but more proportionate to his 6'10 height than Porzingis:
Not sure why he's giving the guy a happy ending, but you can see he hits the weights.

if you think thats a happy ending you are doing it wrong, unless thats your flavor.
Agree on Seraphin, I dont get it at all.
