Remember when writers and 'expert analysts' were trying to make us all panic about distraction and shakiness as a result of the incident? So do they look distracted? What do you guys think?
they don't look distracted to me.
Dont believe anyone here claimed that it was a permanent distraction. For whatever the reason, Fisher presided over the worst record in franchise history, and followed it up with headlines over getting caught in a relationship with the estranged wife of a former friend, with children involved. It was a distraction because Fisher missed a game over it. No one suggested that there would be long term repercussions over this incident.
Fisher is doing a good job so far, hopefully there will be no more drama on this front.

I don't like that matchup since KP will stretch him out to the 3 point line and KP won't be able to protect the lane. Exactly the point of a stretch 4.
Rather see KP on Moz? IMHO, don't want to see that, not coming off a soft tissue injury. I like Rolo banging with Moz and KP playing D on soft as Luvs.
yeah ... you're right. Tough matchup - I wish Klove played closer to the basket.
I don't this is a great test for him. He gets to go up against a true stretch 4 that can also rebound early in the season. I want KP tested early and often so he can gain knowledge, experience, and film study.
Also, Lopez on K. Love would be a nightmare. Lopez will get to hang back in the paint and not worry about to many jumpers from Moz. It's basically Gortat 2.0 for Lopez.
A real interesting match up for me will be Grant against Dellavedova.
We may see lots of LT tonight also since he can probably guard a stretch 4. Koq does not match up well tonight.
They only have one stretch 4 so why wouldn't we see O'Q?
I think that he matches up ok with Tristan but not with Mozgov.

The pre-Draft buzz was he is not nearly strong enough yet to play inside at power forward. Someone will break him in half under the boards. Reached for comment, Porzingis said: eight rebounds in 26 minutes, six in 21 minutes and 14 in 24 minutes in his last three games. The most recent -- against the San Antonio Spurs of LaMarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan, Boris Diaw and some David West -- included eight offensive boards and a couple blocks.
Wow. I disagree with a lot of their rankings. Johnson at 3 and Towns at 4? Ruseell at 5.

It is preseason. Doesn't include the first week+ of games.

Oh. That makes sense then.

Yeah, this is how he explains it..
10. Jerian Grant, New York Knicks (not ranked)The plan inside Ladder HQ was to keep the season-opening top 10 for two weeks to build a body of work, but Justin Anderson barely played in Dallas. Enter Grant and his four years of experience in a major program. The Notre Dame product -- and brother of Philadelphia 76ers forward Jerami Grant, who is coming off an encouraging rookie campaign himself -- opened with an assist-to-turnover ratio slightly better than 2-1 while shooting 53.8 percent and averaging 24.4 minutes in four games. This is what being NBA ready at 23 years old looks like.
wow! Billups just kinda killed melo.
"will he embrace the triangle or stick to being an ISO player who needs his 30-35 points?"
Something like that ...
KP great pass to melo for 3!
Porzingis is quickly becoming our best player
Knicks are trying to burn Love and are going to KP in the post. Play to your matchups ... nice!
Melo and KP have chemistry

I want to see Melo and Kris do a Short film mockumentary of Stepbrothers.
FREAKIN AWESOME MELO N KP ACTION!!!
They look fantastic so far. KP and Melo looking for each other is bringing a tear to my eye.
Loved that they went right to Porzingis after Love scored on him at the other end of the floor.

Even less room for activities when you're 7'3".
Let me be Fitz. If that was Kawai he would not have been called for a foul.
