Monroe on the trade block. I predicted this a few weeks ago and people made fun of me. Take that, people.
Bucks' beat writer Gery Woelful outlines a possible shakeup to Milwaukee's roster in the coming weeks:But Carter-Williams isn't the only frontline player the Bucks are apparently willing to move. A much bigger surprise is the Bucks have made known that center Greg Monroe is available at the right price, according to some NBA officials.
so monroe aint nothin close to lopez and MCW got Philly a top pick and all the UK posters killed the MCW trade.

perfect Rolo and someone for Monroe & Williams. KP/Monroe is a great fit. More balanced on both ends. Will help us get easier baskets consistently while Melo continues hoists long bombs. Williams height and scoring ability is intriguing in the triangle. These 2 guys will significantly improve our offense. Trade Rolo now that his value is high

put down that sh1t that you are smoking fast!
I think RoLo has proven his worth. He is a a solid NBA C. Monroe just doesn't have that work man like approach. He is a double double machine but something is off.
NY needs backcourt help.
Greg Monroe plays zero defense whatsoever.
I think you saw last night how devastating a Melo/Rolo pick and roll can be.
I wonder if the Knicks will work in more pick and roll or if they're only gonna bust that out when they really want to win.

how is monroe an upgrade over lopez in any sense of the word? he plays zero defense and he requires the ball to be in his hands to score. the last thing this team needs is another forward to have to feed the ball to. melo and kp is more than enough scoring from the bigs. lopez is the perfect player for this team, he plays above-average defense, he gets offensive rebounds and plays the pick and roll PERFECTLY. there is no upgrade with monroe... at all.
I dont think either player is changing anyones prospects without the right parts with them. If you dont have a multitude of material guards you are not winning.

this i definitely agree. it's a guards league and unfortunately for us, we don't have any

We literally have negative point guards right now.
One that escorts the other team's point guard to the hoop at least 10 times a game:

The other a shooting guard in a 6'2 frame, and the other one's confidence completely destroyed by the coach.
Sasha isn't even worth mentioning.

Big problem also is Phil Jackson only wants a specific type guard which limits an already limited asset team--this is almost like technology companies--if you didnt notice everything went mobile you got letd behind. In Phils case he still believes the big man dominates the nBA when its the guards.

everything went mobile ... that was the 80's.
today the NBA is up to shooting long 2's. Maybe one day they will create a three point line. When they do, I hope KP does not go near it.

wow
Surprised they gave up on him so quickly. Cant help but wonder if there is some behind the scene stuff going on....
Wasn't it the Bucks team that was caught at the strip club after a game (loss) this season?

Agree with this. You saw how effective the Knicks could be putting Melo and Rolo in the pick and roll briefly last night. Imagine if we actually had a guard who was good at the pick and roll who we let run the pick and roll??
They made me do this. I swear.

hey jrod ... how are things going? Just stopped in here by mistake but once I'm here, whats new?
So who are the people that have been on here stating that G.Monroe is better than R.Lopez?? I'm sure Briggs is one so who else??

you??? well ... at least offensively.
Holfresh is somewhere out there wearing his ROLO jersey and very upset about all this trade talk.

I'm glad we didn't get the guy. I preferred a two way player. We have learned our lesson with one dimensional players, especially offensive ones.
