He defends and can shoot the ball. Besides, we already know that he was in the starting five temporarily; thus, once AA returns dude will go back to the bench. The problem is Calderon inability to defend and produce in all areas of the game. The dudes it not rebounding, not setting others for a better shot; therefore he needs to be replaced ASAP. If this dude is still in the starting five when we meet the Lakers, it will say a lot about Fisher's commitment to winning
Sasha ain't the problem, but he sure ain't the solution either.
2 points from your starting 2 guard. Pathetic.
Hopefully Afflalo's good to go, and he's buried deep on the bench as rah rah ziss boom bah cheerleader guy. Good for the practice court and teaching Kristaps where to get Latvian hookers in New York. Nothing more.

We always knew the dude was a backup player; but your boy Calderon has always been viewed as a starter. Get rid of the POS
I havent been impressed. Even his shooting which is supposedly his strength hasnt been good

Yea, I don't even want him as bench role player stealing minutes from the others.
He disgusts me almost as much as Hose-zay.
It is time to stretch this dude
Yup, looks like Calderon really put the work in this offseason

Just another lazy Euro who thinks he can play himself into shape in training camp...at his age, it just isn't happening. He needs to man up and retire to the Spanish league.
Just to be fair, my Calderon hate started along time ago so it is impossible for me to be objective here. I just want him gone. Knicks need to cut bait and bring in a waiver or D league guard
We're too European in the backcourt.

European has nothing to do with our friends ineptitude. Our coaches are too dumb to realize that starting slowpo Calderon would have been an issue
tricky way to start another calderon sucks thread.

If you say so.

haha...sarcasm doesn't come through the internet too well, but read it again and you will get it.
Fisher is the problem- what is he blind?
Actually he's a very big problem.
Please leave the NBA.
sasha sucks
big problem
brick
sasha was supposed to be a 3rd strinfer
Calderon looked good today against the Lakers and made a great pass to Galloway on the big three. I think that they play well together.
Calderon finally had a little impact in the game. He shot the ball and scored; which in return opened the floor for the other guys to operate. At this stage of his career, he needs to be a backup SG. Specifically, in the triangle. He is too slow and lacks the agility necessary to breakdown his man on offense. Defensively, he doesn't exist

And this was verified last night. We need to stick Gallo in there. Don't want to put too much pressure on Melo as he just doesn't shoot his best when he is the focal point.
We should at least try a game with Gallow starting and another with Gallo and Grant starting. Grant's shot is off but with more offensive weapons out there, I think he can
shine and get better looks at the basket.
If Sasha is white then he is the worst jumpshooting white guy I've ever seen shoot a basketball. Like KP Sasha is unique in his own way
Can we leave the racial comments out of here please?
