'EVERYONE should play more and more consistently' is easier said than done.

Show us how it's done.

Jose-15, Afflalo-23, Carmelo-28, KP-20, Lopez-20
Grant-20, Galloway-25, Williams-20, Lance-15, KO-20

As the 11th man:
When energy is needed play Lou.
If low post scoring is lacking play Seraphin.

We do not need to play 13 or 14 players per game; specifically, if the goal is to build a rapport or cohesion within our players. Use the 11 men rotation for 5 games, and make the appropriate changes based on the result.

Please feel free to make adjustments as you all see fit. My goals are to have a well balanced rotation and to compete/win games

If Afflalo starts 5-5fg should he get 24 min? 25?

Expecting a set amount of minutes every game is ridiculous. Different guys are suited to succeed against different teams.

Expecting a firm rotation every game is absurd. Check out the minutes game to game for any other team in the league.

When the goal is to establish continuity; specifically with a new rosters, you have to make the adjustments slowly. It is just like when you are in the kitchen cooking, you have to wait for the spices to marinade before adding more.

After ten games I pray that Fisher simply settles on 11 players and go to battle with them

Here's your issues.

For one, you don't pay for 31 year old alpha dog $21m to play 28 mins a night. That's not at all realistic or likely wise.

Second of all, you left 33 minutes on the table, which means you just arbitrarily threw out numbers that sounded right to you, but have no quantitative or qualitative value. They're just numbers you made up and didn't even seem to check.

The Knicks have a new roster with frankly considerable question marks as to who deserves PT and how much, not to mention what's the best combination of players.

Consistent minutes is a theory, and it might be a sound one for some rosters, but no theory is one-sized fits all.

The Knicks are about to play their 12th game with again, almost an entirely turned over roster and players have delivered some widely uneven performances, as both their newness to one another and their history as players suggest is not surprising.

I don't see what the fire is.

But making up numbers out of thin air and suggesting the Knicks will play better if Fisher just stuck to the numbers you made up out of thin air is … what it is.

I purposely left the aforementioned 33 minutes on the table for a reason. If one of the 11 players is hitting shots, a smart coach usually ride that player a little more; I.e: Carmelo is shooting 16 out of 20 shots, use some of those extra minutes to milk his production.

Much better coaching performance by Fisher tonight. He gave three minutes too many to the bench in the third quarter, but he redeemed himself

Like I've been saying, give the man a chance to figure things out.

Phil blessed him with a pretty good/talented squad. He needs to diligently learn to improve his coaching ability

Waitaminute, I thought you advocated steady rotation minutes no matter what?

Now you're saying Fisher should make in-game adjustments.

Williams was -15 in 6 mins. Next closest Knick was Grant -8 in 13 min.

Would you have given Williams his 20 mins, no matter what?

The answer is YES, I would. I don't rely so much on analytics like many of you. I look at chemistry and expect result

"Analytics"?

When did the score become analytics?

The score was 24-17 Knicks when Williams checked into the game with a min left in the 1st quarter.

When he was removed with 7:16 left in the second quarter, it was 38-30 Hornets.

15 point swing in 6 mins.

That was a result.

So, this is no longer a team sport? There were 4 other players on the court; the blame should fall squarely on the five guys, not just Williams

NO other player had that big a negative impact.

Seriously dude? Question: who did they replace him with?
