Had a very good game for the most part. Knicks really played him tough at the end, though. Played some tough D, too.
The real issue is whether he was playing like this for most of the year, and if his bad play got McHale fired.

Melo was 5-10fg tonight. He played limited minutes because of foul trouble and possible fatigue or injury. He carried the win last night. KP carried it tonight. No need to chose sides, they're both on the same team.

0 assists and 3 turnovers. If you have tired legs, make plays for your teammates. He is just not that type of star. If he is hitting his shot then he is great, if he is not, he is bleh
Truthfully Melo should've sat out tonight.
Fisher should seriously consider sitting Melo on the back end of back to backs.

My dudes, he was in foul trouble. He also hit an insanely important shot or two in the fourth quarter and shot 5-10 and had 14pts and 6rebs in 23miniutes and played very good defense.
No need to pick sides. KP won it tonight, Melo won it last night.
That first shot by KP was like a 7'3 Allen Houston mid range contested jumper
Knicks defensive cohesion is amazing. They're really locking in on D as a team. Also Fish did a great job with the line up at the end.
