Carmelo had a good game if you ask me, he rebounded well and showed a lot of leadership out there. Our bench was nonexistant once again tonight and we simply did not get enough production to beat Orlando. Jose finally shot the ball with authority tonight, but he is having a hard time sustaining that aggression every game.

Carmelo had a good game if you ask anyone with a pulse. 28 and 13. Funny how there is not a word on game thread. 28 on 9 of 17 shooting 3 of 4 from 3pt. May of had 4 more assists if open jumpers were hit. KP with 3 of 13 shooting. Rough night but good game on defense, as ussual. Bench had a poor shooting night for the second night in a row. Main reason we lost the last two.

carmelo had a very good game. Still missed some key passes during that orlando run that were really painful but very happy overall with his play.

Agreed. Along with a couple of his ritual forced shots. Things you sometimes have to deal with from players with scorers mentality. Use to be pretty hard on him and probably still am during those aforementioned occasions. But I must say, I have been impressed with his willingness to improve, on the defensive side, the last couple of years. As well as his effort to get others involved early in the game this year. Will be interesting to see if it continues as it seems to be affecting his offensive output.

His offensive output will fix itself; specifically when he starts getting the foul calls that he deserves. The dude has been clobbered every time he gets in the paint and the refs are ignoring him. He is so frustrated, he is now showing a lot more emotion; which is a good thing if you ask me. Because I don't like Carmelo when he is Melo

Good point. We were noticing the calls drawn by Oledepo and the lack there of on Melo. A disparity you would not have seen between a perennial All Star and a second year player a few years ago.

From your keyboard to....and I sure hope God is listening/reading. When do you think we can look for signs that this is actually going to happen, by the way?

Starting tonight. He has been complaining about the disparity and the refs do go and review each games to see wher they have missed a call. It is one thing if the dude was flopping, but that is not the case
