Knicks · Yikes! 2nd Video emerges from Jahlil Okafor Street Fight. Fought 2 guys, 1 guy bleeding from the head from Okafor Haymaker. (page 1)

ChuckBuck @ 12/2/2015 1:27 PM
Like I said in the first fight thread....we DODGED a major league bullet landing KP instead of him. This guy is an immature punk bitch.

Yelling back at the Hecklers "Shut the phuck up" "You got money?" "Broke ass bitch" then proceed to haymaker and stomp guys in the face. At 1:40 you can see the potential manslaughter charge and definite aggravated assault charge he may be facing.

7 foot near 300 lb'er fighting with dudes half his size, real tough. He's soooooooooo lucky no one pulled out a gun on his ass...

fishmike @ 12/2/2015 1:29 PM
you know he was baited.... should he walk away? OF COURSE.
mreinman @ 12/2/2015 1:30 PM
holy sh1t! And we had to see OK4 azz ... eeeesh.
crzymdups @ 12/2/2015 1:31 PM
He's acting really immaturely. Part of me feels like the situation in Philly is part of the problem though.

It's not that hard. You think KP would fall for that bait?

This is not a race, cultural, socioeconomic, religious or otherwise issue. This is a dumb Phuck issue. Dude got shyt for brains, and got shyt for friends. If OK4 was my boy, I'd shove him into the trunk of my car, speed off, and tell him to thank me later. "Easier said than done" NO IT ISN'T. If that's my friend, I'm not going to let him phuck up his career over stupid shyt.

"broke azz bitch ... money money we got money money"

he will never live this down. Hinkie should trade his rich azz

nixluva @ 12/2/2015 1:49 PM
KP would most likely not be in this kind of scenario. I'm sure his brothers would not let him be exposed like this. Who does OK4 have to look out for him that way?

OK4 made a ton of really bad choices. I've been there as a very young man where your pride takes over and you make the wrong choice. It's easy to just blame the Star Player but to just ignore the fans who do this kind of dumb crap isn't right either.

Part of this is frustration from losing and then having dumb as people provoking you with taunts. If you don't want to get into a physical confrontation don't follow a giant athlete talking trash. It's not like OK4 went out and sought this confrontation. Those fans were instigating this and it would've been over had they stopped following and taunting OK4. No one made the right decisions that night. OK4 is the one who is likely to end up paying dearly tho.

Thank You Sixers and Lakers for blowing the 2015 draft!
smackeddog @ 12/2/2015 1:56 PM
He's 19 years old, of course he's not going to be very mature, think some of you are being a bit harsh.
mreinman @ 12/2/2015 2:05 PM
now that philly got a win I think that he will calm down however, I would give Nick Buckets a body guard.

We all do dumb shyt when we're young, it's a part of life. He's a human being, he bleeds just like you and me. That's where the similarities end though. This guy is a multimillionaire. This guy can afford security guards, can afford limo drivers, can afford managers to look after his every want and need.

KP is barely 20 years old. You don't even picture him falling into this trap.

model citizen in college where MANY guys arent. If he had issues that program surrounded him with a positive culture.

We hear about how some of our vets, mainly Melo have taken KP under their wing, and we have heard KP say how valuable that has been for him.

there are no excuses for this behavior and I dont condone it, not for a second. He's also 20. Do you remember being 20? I was waiting on tables, chasing skirts, living in an apartment, playing baseball and football, working out every chance I could and part of that muay thai and I was pretty decent. If some dude started taking jazz or baiting me I was pretty good about walking away... pretty good. I was 20. Dumb kid. Being drafted by the NBA doesnt instill instant maturity. It comes from time, experience and good examples.

Again... no excuses, but if 20 year olds are the cornerstone of your franchise I would be protecting those with every resource I have. Like Bull Durham and Crash Davis...

what's he doing with an illegal id, out at 2am getting drunk, bragging about money, getting into fistfights?

paging chuckwudi okafor... where are you, where have you been, and where were you? not just that night but your son's entire life?

the victim will be pressing charges of assault, that much can be expected. and then what? suspension without pay by the sixers? jail time? a massive fine?

and now that they know that he is combustible he will have a security detail. Maybe its philly? Remember how awful Iverson's posse was?

This is a alcohol issue with an under age kid who has just become a multi millionaire.

they almost beat much much better teams than us. This is going to be a tough game.

perhaps our best chance is heckling Ok4 NY style.

Yeah...this is what I'm also looking at, but...

There was a perfect storm, though. Money, booze, the raw physical power of a giant man, the Laker snub, Sixers losing, nobody with him to talk him down and stop him.

Man...this was much worse than that first video. He comes across as a complete thug, to be honest...complete with his pants falling down.

I know its hard, but you can't take fan shyte personally. The ONLY thing that I can see worth fighting over in his case is if someone was stupid enough to bait him about his mom.

By the way, if I'm the police I also go after the bar/club that served him.

Knixkik @ 12/2/2015 2:58 PM
He is an idiot, but why is Philly letting him go out like this, drink, no security, no team rules, no accountability during the season? Even guys on my college basketball team were smart enough not to put themselves in this position during the season, and we have less at our disposal for protection. If you are going to drink, drink with your boys or teammates at your/their house, invite over some girls and keep it lowkey. If you want to go out in public to a bar or club, make sure you go someplace with VIP and have security at least escort you in and out and if someone starts talking shit, they can take care of it. These are simple things. Okafor going out to the club like a regular 19 year old isn't going to work for him. Too many people going to try and bait him. On top it seems he's insecure and has a temper, so he should know what will happen. You don't need to have self-control, you just need to not put yourself in that situation.
