Is this Ben Simmons guy the definite #1 pick barring injury? The sixers would be forced to draft another big guy if they got the #1? Haha.

I have to see more of Simmons. Watched a clip in a loop on ESPN and I couldn't see what the hype was all about. Kind of stuff you see in layup drills. What does Simmons do so well that has people all excited? Have very little to go by.

Not impressed. Least impactful 43 points ever. This against a junior college caliber team.

I can project a career either good or bad with a youtube collage!

He's a poor mans lebron. He seems to be the franchise player in this draft. No one else would break the top 5 of the last 2 drafts. Sixers need to land him or it's back to the drawing board for them.

EVERYTHING

One problem though is that team is terrible.... there is one other good player on it, so he's going to be a crazy stat stuffer on a mediocre team.

He's already very likely a top 5 NBA rebounder. He can handle and pass the ball like a point guard at 6-10 245 but there is no doubt about the reality he needs to work on the shooting aspect of the game. I think if you morphed Magic Johnson and Blake Griffin together you might come out with Ben Simmmons.
