mind boggling how silly we played MCW tonight.

At least he's shooting at a nice clip.
not nice enough to make up for his complete lack of passing
Sure wasn't a good thing.
mreinman wrote:nixluva wrote:Knicks just never had it tonight. It happens.
they were making a good run until melo took that horrible horrible 3 with KP wide open.
Even with KP back in there it may not have put us over the top. Maybe Fish saw KP laboring and rather than just a rest he felt it wasn't worth wearing him out. Whatever it was it's not like Fish isn't trying to win. He knows more about his players energy levels than we do from here. KP looked tired as did many others. The missed FT's was also a sign among other things that the team was low on gas. IT HAPPENS!!!

he is a kid ... why does a rookie seem to play with far more brains then a vet super star?
It just shows a complete lack of fairness and objectivity, hard to take it seriously.
It's pointless to complain but Calderon makes me sick. He plays like a coward.

Yea he wasn't bad a few bad fouls but that's to be expected from everyone from time to time...
I think we are going to lose a lot of games when our second best player KP only takes 8 shots which he hit 4 ... Fish has to run more plays for KP ... I couldn't believe how many wide open looks KP had and we failed to get him the ball
mreinman wrote:how the hell does seraphin have 5 assists and Afflalo ZERO?
Afflalo will give u a dime one in every 3 games.
Its not so bad .. Melo shot 6-17 rather than 7-23

Yes . . . it's not all about winning (except for Golden State, of course).

you can say that about any coach even bad ones - that they know their players better. Anyway ... there were much sillier things tonight like the defense on MCW which was really really embarrassing that we did not get the memo that he can't shoot. We went over every pick and ran him off shots.
Melo was awful ... that is why he gets abused so often.
Afflalo just won't pass.

Afflalo shoots well and plays defense. Good enough for me . . .
Again we are going to lose every game KP only shoots 8 shots

yeah ... you seem objective.
On most nights our big three should be leading in shot selection Kp #2 on that list

not for me! you can't play guard in this league and not pass. Name a good guard who gets away with so few assists?

we don't have a big three ... its comical how desperate some are to create one.
8 freaking shots wtf and he was open for about 30 offensive possessions fish has to tell these guys to get him the ball

It was evident the Knicks were low on gas. That impacts even your thought process. It's one bad loss on a back end of back to back. It's gonna happen. You know our D is usually better so chalk this one up to the schedule. They laid an egg! No point in overanalyzing.

I'd hate to tell you this but this is "our"big three no body else on this team even come close to their talent level
Jose and Lopez got owned tonight on defense
Not suggesting this game is on Calderon, but nights like these are going to happen when you need your point guard to generate some offense, because they need all the scoring they can get. What is in the water that makes starting Knick PGs become so allergic to the rim? Feels like its been going on forever. Thank God Grant is finding his stroke.

I don't ever care about one game. I care about alarming trends. Melo not passing in the second half of games, Afflalo not passing at all ...
Fisher really was way off in how he defended MCW. There really is no excuse to not scout and know who you are playing and guarding.

then last year are big three were Lou, Lance and Langston
