I know Gallo is in a slump but you really want lance on the floor on offense over him? Fisher is the best.
Poor coaching. Mavs have an old slow starting 5 on the 2d night of Back to back
And we let them kill us from 3 pt line. We know they can shoot for Christs sake
And while switching can be good at times our switches resulted in grant guarding dirk???
Tonight we needed offensive and defensive intensity. Poor coaching job.

yes. LT is much better offensively than gallo
gallo is playing terribly stupid basketball.
I thought KP played poorly defensively. Besides scoring what did he do outside of the late game stretch.
He is a net negative for our team. Was that the performance of an elite player down the stretch?
Bench Melo! And then trade him. It's the only way out.

yeah he's looking like a d leaguer,

its tough because he constantly has to cover for calderon. However when it counted KP made defensive plays despite having a off night defensively

he got open all night ... thats what he did. We have to stop missing him.
Also, we did not abuse zaza like we should have

I still trust Gallo more in the clutch and he is a more proven shooter.
Despite, Gallo's poor shooting he is still getting ast, rebs, & steps in limited minutes.

Even if you are right...and their coach has a lot more experience-Does it really "pain" you to say this??
It pains me because I know how much money we owe this dude
I can lend you some $$ if it is too much for you.

Yes he did get open and by now teammates should know the can lob it up to their 7'3 big off the pnr especially when he is at the 5. I just didn't like him getting lost on D and not rebounding. He is a rookie so his play really does get a pass.
mreinman wrote:Knicks1969 wrote:clyderules wrote:Takeaway from this game is that KP should be our center.
Not for the whole game. We need to find a trade for a better passing big. Seraphin is not that dude and so is Rolo
or ... throw the triangle in the garbage and lets play some damn ball.
Have to agree. Among most coaches, this type of offensive scheme is best when talent level is low. Or at the Y. But best when you have Jordan and Pippen or Kobe and Shaq on the team. Which at that point, doea not mattwr what you run. Really tired of slowing down the pace only to give Rolo or Seraphin the ball for decision making. Think running lots of pick and rolls with anyone and KP mixed in with post ups for Melo and Aflalo would be more successful. But must say, our defense in first 3 quarters lost us the game today. And we need more talent on the bench. Hopefully we continue to build the roster in months and years to come. Was not a fan of the Lopez signing, Felt it was a knee jerk signing after missing on Monroe. Would have preferred our 2 back up centers from last year and using that extra money on bench.
Gallo is very inconsistent. Consistency is needed by a pro unless you have an elite skill which he doesn't
Love the guy but he needs to straighten this out
Why do fat lady refs hate us?
here I go ranting about our coach Fisher again
At the very start of game
MAVs with Aged star Dirk whom is playing well past few seasons,
Knicks were running up and down and up and down court getting open for solely jumpers.
Little detail to Defense, just getting back on offense end to run few sets for open man.
None or little penetration OR adjustments. Dallas had really good shooting game and their offense
let them have few chances on d' end of court though Knicks missed lots of shots.
All in all Derick Fisher team didn't seem ready to play harder/compete at outset set tone of game.
As if Fisher was telling Fans at beginning cause of MAVs/Dirk rep
OR whatever he and team played like they didn't expect to win game in first place!
There you have your/our coach!
putrid showing at home gym as usual
Whats the story?
Fisher gave Calderon 35 minute playing time tonite.
Oh ok
yellowboy90 wrote:I thought KP played poorly defensively. Besides scoring what did he do outside of the late game stretch.
Wants to be down low blocking shots...
I felt that his attention drifted from his man at times. Knicks also seemed confused on their assignments on more than one occasion.
Part of the learning process. This is where watching game recordings will help him.

Sad reality. No guard on the team is playing well enough to take his spot. Oh...did you check his stat line?

This is so true. Lit up by Felton and deron.
