That dude has been balling all season long. He has been a pleasant surprise scoring the ball, but his defense has been suffocating. He is a lot more athletic the he is giving credit in the last; and I am happy he is a Knicks
It's amazing how improved he is. He's been great.

Hard work does pay off
i always liked lance. never understood the hate he gets. he's a solid player
Also, he is Fisher's guy. All character and hard work. YOu have to like a guy like that.
It was weird watching him struggle with his shot so much during the pre-season. Have to admit, he had me a little worried at that point. Glad to see he got out of that funk.
The dude went to Duke after all. He is a wellcoached guy. It just took him a little longer to blossom
Lance sis like the watered down version of the watered down version of Shane Battier.

I like his play and I have been saying he need to defend guards more.

He also was a Mc Donald's All American coming out of high school. I look at that like a pitcher that is a first round pick in mlb. The majority of those guys will be successful professionals if they don't have tragic character flaws. Lance is one of those guys.

All the people dissin the idea of bringing LT back need to man up cuz he's been really good this year. I remember early in the season LT was missing shots and they were killing him. Now he's a core part of the rotation.

Didn't diss the signing but I have been puzzled by Fisher's love for him as the season has gone on. I'm starting to see it now though. He's earning all of that trust and all of those minutes.
Lance has surprised me. Good Defense and has hit some big shots
The front office and Fisher showed a lot of love to the dude, and that elevated his confidence for sure. What I LIKE about the dude is his basketball IQ
Had a few games where his shooting really tanked, but thankfully he's gotten back on track. Hitting his 3's over 36%.
He's basically the guy who put Thanasis back into the DLeague, and Early into the nice clothing he wears on the bench.
Still makes a strange play every now and then, but he can defend at the 2/3/4 spots, and even go toe to toe with a PG at times.
Expect to see him wearing a Knicks' uniform for a number of years.

This. I remember for myself wondering if the knicks would have been smarter to go after some of the guys that were final roster cuts. Fisher was right to go with Lance.

Thanasis is the same d league player he was three years ago. I do think the Knicks made a point of having a more developmental coaching staff in place for year 2 of the W-Knicks. I think Thanasis's lack of development last year was part of the reason for the change.
Great game but BAD foul at the end of game. Knicks had a foul to give. Why not foul before the shot???

This year the WKnicks are playing much better. It's a much better environment for development.

I agree. Not sure that this makes Thanasis an nba player though.

At this level that's the difference between a bottom of the bench guy and a rotation player. Knowing your name will be called every night makes a difference too.
Great move by Phil to bring him back. Never been more happy to be wrong.
