You've been waiting all night to find something to complain about but it's still funny how you can try to blame Fisher for these guys playing horrible on both sides of the court in that 3rd quarter and Fish has nothing at all to do with that.
Fish motivates the team during half time speechs...
Fish decided to bring back the same slow starting lineup....
Fish did not pull Rolo when it was obvious that he couldn't guard Towns on those 3 pt shots....
D.Fisher must just have a horrible basketball mind then right?? Come on now. I'm sure he has his reasons for having the lineups he chooses out there and not one single person on a message board knows what those reasons are.
Fisher is just coaching like Phil did in LA. Whenever teams went on runs, Phil left his players in the handle it themselves. I always thought that was wrong, but it was a great way to let the team learn how to play through it. I just don't think that strategy should be in place for a team learning how to gel together.
D.Fisher is a very very smart man. He knows basketball like nobody on here could ever even think about knowing basketball but i think sometimes we forget that this team isn't a great team and they still have a ton of learning to do with playing with each other.
You are correct, but so do pretty much all coaches...It doesn't make them invulnerable to bad decision making.
But that's the point that people don't seem to realize is that every coach doesn't always make the right moves but people come down on Fisher like he's the only one.
We come down on Fisher because he's the knicks coach.....If you were the coach, we would come down on you......If Phil was the coach, he would get the same treatment.......Are you from NY? Most NY born fans understands this already.....Nobody is safe from criticism!

yeah, he got pushed by Dieng there.
sigh.
At least Afflalo has been clutch from the line.

. Pushed right in front of Ref and still...
Lopez and Calderon combine for 9 points.
What does that tell us (?)

He's not in the elite category....plus he doesn't know how to flop! Thats old school right there!
The only thing I have to complain about this game is Jerian's DNP. We are really hindering his development by not playing him. Also, he is still the only player on the roster who could penetrate; we could use that, ya think?
Great way for the game to end. Towns is going to be very good for a long time.

Calderon was +15 and ran the offense well.
Rolo was -12 and I am fine benching him except for situational stuff.
HAHAHAHAHAH KP BLOCKS TOWNS to end the game
Towns 22 and 10 low impact game ... Not too impressed

EXACTLY!!! Jerian brings the one thing we need at guard. His time will come.
Fantastic game from Melo and Kobe tonight

You bring in Rolo for situational plays or matchups....But I'm still not convinced that KP should be a full time starter. Even if numbers don't lie. I just know Rolo shouldn't be in the starting 5.
Melo 20pts 15rebs 9ast 1steal 1blk

25pts 10rebs and dragged the Wolves back into the game.
He's very good. Saying that doesn't take anything away from KP
Sweet block by Zinger on Towns. I think that's TWO on Towns, THREE on Wiggins tonight.

My take on Porzingis vs Towns.
Porzingis has better impact on D, and will turn out to be the better defender. On D, Porzingis is Motumbo like at times when he wants. He can block any and everything. Plus he moves his feet. Towns doesn't do that.
On O, it's Towns. He's got more moves that are NBA ready and consistent. Porzingis seems to make some great plays, but won't repeat them on O. He doesn't really have any bread and butter plays. That said, Porzingis has HUGE potential as a jumpshooter. His legs are weak, he can make those babies stronger easily over the coming years, and that makes him a much better jumpshooter. If he even improves his jumpshot a little bit, it'll allow him to become a 18 ppg guy in the league.
