So what your saying is he is well coached?

I hope you know that AA has always been that type of player. He didn't suddenly transform into the talent that he is because of our oach.

he is shooting the long 2 at a crazy unsustainable rate. Would like to see what happens when that comes back to earth.
ChuckBuck @ 12/20/2015 9:41 PM
Has he always had that post up fallaway mid range jumper? Shyt is deadly accurate especially against smaller guards.

Don't recall that from his previous stints in his career, either that or I didn't notice.

he has always been efficient in the mid range but nowhere near his numbers this year.

Best case scenario: he's made for the Triangle system (both skill-wise and psychologically) and he'll be able to sustain his shooting.

That's what Phil Jackson is counting on: that that kind of development is possible . . .

System scorer, that feels right to me.

That sums it. This system allows him to do his thing within the flow of the offense. Melo seems to have clicked too the last 2 games. Gotta keep it rolling and get some consistency. Can't really know what to do next without it

perhaps ... and if we see that this sticks then we know its the triangle. I predict that he will come back to earth but lets see. I would love to see some data how the triangle increases efficiency from certain areas of the court.

An upgrade at pure second scorer. Like that he posts up and plays defense. Something JR. others didn't have.
meloshouldgo @ 12/21/2015 6:44 PM
Great add to the team - he takes the focus away fro Melo-KP and that can ONLY be good. As long as he stays in the flow of the game and doesnt hog the ball - we couldn't have asked for better fill in for this offense. Defense - now that's another thing.
93BUICK @ 12/21/2015 7:51 PM
Breen quoting UK on the gamecast already!
TPercy @ 12/21/2015 10:21 PM
Had a mare tonight.
herkyJerky @ 12/22/2015 1:30 AM
Hopefully in the future when he has bad offense nights like tonight, against Orlando, he will continue to NOT try and force the issue. I would've liked to see him try to draw some fouls though. Magic only committed 1 foul I believe in the entire 1st quarter.
ChuckBuck @ 12/22/2015 9:02 AM
Well....back to reality for Double A.
stopstandthere @ 12/23/2015 7:02 PM
Back to earth. Yet he is still solid.
SocraticBallin22 @ 12/23/2015 7:03 PM
Sign me up for the club and get me a blazer.
stopstandthere @ 1/3/2016 6:05 PM
He's back.
mreinman @ 1/3/2016 6:07 PM
AA proved today that he is a great player
StarksEwing1 @ 1/3/2016 6:09 PM
Very good game but i need to see more. I still dont see much defense and is still missing open guys particularly KP
TPercy @ 1/3/2016 7:01 PM
He is the Old Melo, when he is hot, we do really well, when he isnt he does nothing besides some decent defense.
