I'm really surprised at this stat since we have Calderon running the point.
I think they might've had some if KOQ was playing. Seraphin really slowed down the bench unit.

At least he doesn't shoot unless he absolutely has to. And that's misleading, since his defense is so strong with his uncanny ability to break down the defense and pass it back out

I agree with this. Too many three pointers.
the only bad shot he took was not shooting a 3 right away and then putting the ball on the floor to end up with a silly contested long 2.
you want him dunking? yeah brilliant me too

too many days in a row with this dumb posting. If the fukker could get inside to dunk the fukker would dunk! Geeez
Also not all his shots were bad! He just missed some good wide open shots. They just need to get him some good looks off screens IMO.
Disagree .. all his shots were bad .. taking 3s when there 14 sec on the shot clock (Selphy)
This is not accurate. KP missed a shot from the corner 3 in rhythm and he hit a shot also in rhythm if I could play back each shot you'd see that some where the right shots to take.
I agree with nixluva. He was square. Just too strong. Shot clock has nothing to do with it.
He needs to stay positive.

afflalo should not be taking 3's being that he is a good post up player, much better than KP.
obviously stupid.
why shouldn't KP take 3's in rhythm? He should not take them early in the shot clock? Stupid stupid stupid.
Did anyone see KP try to post up frye? RAG DOLL
This is gonna take more time to develop. Clearly they don't have things perfectly structured on offense. I'm not really overly worried since I think they do show that they get it sometimes but lack consistency.
I like KP's shot selection because he's supposed to stretch the D. You're not going to be a good team in the NBA if BOTH your 5 and 4 can't shoot. You have to have one guy who can stretch the floor. The biggest problem for KP is that he's playing with Lopez who clogs up the middle and then you also have Melo or Afflalo usually trying to post up. It doesn't leave him much room to be anything other than a spot up shooter. He tries to cut and move in but the team has been pretty inept at getting him baskets inside. He had position inside a few times in that half, but they got him the ball just twice, once led to a dunk the other time was a bad timed pass.
I do want him to do more than shooting, but with Lopez/starters he doesn't have much other role. Now if Fish slid Williams in, or moved Melo up to 4 and Zinger to 5, now all of a sudden he has a big advantage to do more than being an outside. Playing Porzingis ZERO minutes at the 5 is unacceptable. Time and after time we've seen the smaller Porzingis/Melo lineup do so well but Fish doesn't go to it.
Our best lineup for O/D balance is Porzingis 5, Melo at 4, Thomas at 3, Afflalo at 2, and Galloway at 1. Yet Fish uses this lineup sparingly. He's even admitted he knows it's one the most lethal lineups they have "but the team wasn't built this way". Ummm, you adjust, right?
I see Skiles is at least not scared to bench his starting point guard when he stinks. Napier starting the 2nd half.
again KP tries to post and looks bloody horrible
Nice but RARE PnR!!! Jose to KP

Can someone please, please comment more on this (?) I mean . . . aside from the fact that you can't play this lineup for 48 minutes.
Lance Thomas is gold off the bench.
COME ON JOSE!!! Damn it 👿
...and Calderon is a lump of coal.
Calderon doing what he does...telegraphing a post pass to Melo and then allowing an easy And 1 on the other end.
