KP better stop shooting these stupid 3's.
The cap is only 1-2 a game. He better put that sh1t away in the second half.
Ladies and gentlemen tonight we are seeing what happens when you give Porzingis the Melo role - this kid is a franchise player in the making. LOVE it.
KP with 3 sweet looking 3 pter's.....but he should only shoot hook shots? Yeah ok.....

Lol hell ya
I would like someone to please try and explain to me how for some reason Jose earned to play 18 out of 24 possible minutes in the 1st half with how atrocious he's been playing the last 3 weeks? This comes after he was benched the entire 4th quarter last game for Grant. I, for the life of me, do not understand Fish's rotations at all! They make no fu**ing sense!
I know it's hard to see....but this is why I wanted KP off the bench.....He needs to develop into a go to player and that will not happen if he's always on the floor with Melo.

maybe because he was having a good half?

The guy is similar to a 7'3 jumpshooting wing with some other skills. He needs a lot of volume shots. He won't ever be a superstar if you restrict his shots. Almost every time he's had a big game - it's been when they play him a lot of minutes at C, and he has free reign to shoot the ball. It doesn't happen much that he has this kind of freedom, and I promise you it wouldn't be happening had Fisher played Lopez more minutes and had Melo been in the game.
Just nice to see for the future. He's even skinny and not strong - once he gets a tad stronger and more comfortable playing 82 games a year, man. Gonna be interesting.

Were we watching the same game? He hit a couple of jumpers but aside from that, he was switching on Lebron for post ups 2 feet from the basket for layups?

the switches were terrible.
7 points on 3-3 with 4 assists is a good half.

Having a good time here in Cleveland haha.
Williams is looking effective because he's attacking the Rim and the Knicks have no one else doing that now. Zinger did a good job on his 3's because be shot the first 2 when Mozgov flat out didn't step out to defend him. He needs more strength to finish on his drives but the Knicks are running a lot of plays for him...

That is easily remedied with a staggered rotation. If Fish changes his rotation pattern so that KP gets time without MELO even tho both start. You just time when you sit KP he comes out for a brief spell and then when he sits MELO, KP comes back in.
Nice to see KP get a lot more touches... Not saying this because of the only two games Melo didn't play... I think Phil would jump for joy if Melo wanted to be traded and I'm a Melo fan .. Phil would love to build around KP

I agree....Also, I still think D.Will should be a starter. With KP at center. It gives us quickness, free throws, transition speed and scoring, without making us too small. I believe D.Will is bigger than Lance.....But again, I would like to see Fisher play around with these different combination of lineups, during the game. Instead of trying every posible lineup combination.....Maybe he's doing this, but again, D.Will needs to be on the court more.

who starts in kp's stead?
and the bench hasn't solidified the triangle so what is kp's role off the bench?

you're implying the triangle should be scrapped. just admit it: you want the players to trump the system.
Ahem. Williams is playing 13 minutes a game -- 11th most on the team.
BUT . . . he has the 2nd most FT attempts per game after Carmelo.
Here is the convo between Lou and Thompson that triggered the double tech!
Lou: "Yo...quit dissing me on social media TT!
Tristan: Common, Lou, you were my teammate. We both know you're a scrub!
Lou: Take it back TT!
Tristan: Common, Lou, it's just twitter...you do got some good hair, tho, u just can't ball!
Porzingis needs to stop differing to anyone on this team. There is no better player than him. If the shot is there take the shot.
