If we had more players who could attack when they get the ball it wouldn't look so bad. People need to understand the system isn't the real problem. It's not a team full of talented shot creators when they get the ball.

i thought phil did a great job though?

Why be a DICK? If this is how you wanna play this from now on we can!

see nix. Thats the intensity we need from our knicks

I've been saying for a while - DWill deserves more minutes and plays well. He's a great fit for this offense and style of play. Likes to handle the ball as a 4 man. Very similar to Kukoc or Odom. Not as good a player but very explosive off the dribble and likes to handle the ball as a guard.

To me it's been clear we don't run enough mismatch lineups like Porzingis/Williams/Melo/Afflalo/Galloway types. Lots of size and ability to interchange there as well.

Every game of the season. Grant isnt even dominating benches and is racking up dnp's.

The DNPs are Fisher's call not Grant's. I honestly can't see that Calderon's making any difference in putting up the "Ws." I just think we'd be better off giving Grant the minutes due to the fact that he's younger and has the potential to improve. Calderon's currently a net loss and he's not going to get any better. I think Grant at least has some upside which, unfortunately, he'll never have the chance to realize in Fisher's spastic personnel rotations.

this spacing is all on phil

Agreed. We are the only team in the Association that do not set any picks to free up players or create mismatches in a league based on exploiting pick n rolls.

MELO, KP, DWILL, Gallo n AFFLALO is an interesting lineup. I like it.
CrushAlot @ 12/27/2015 9:10 PM
Have to wonder if this group shouldn't be the starting line up
SocraticBallin22 @ 12/27/2015 9:10 PM
Btw...our best offensive front line is out there right now: D Will, Melo and KP. We should be seeing a lot more of this frontcourt.

We could add one piece to this team and we'd be so much better and that's a real PG. If had a R.Rondo or a M.Conley or a B.Jennings or i could name a bunch of PG's but the point is that's all we need to make us such a better team. I think Phil will put all of his focus and effort towards finding one at the deadline as long as he doesn't have to give up too much or he needs to do it in the off season.

It's too obvious for Phil not to address this need.

SocraticBallin22 @ 12/27/2015 9:12 PM
Also..it's funny when Gallo is guarding Thomas and not Jose it's not so easy to get in the paint or finish.

that was nice, that ball just rolled in and out
yellowboy90 @ 12/27/2015 9:13 PM
No needed to make that shot. The team should attack the basket when Johnson is out. Even KP should drive on sully

oh ... so phil got players who don't fit this stupid triangle? great ...

Don't forget where this team was before this season cause we had nothing in trade assets or draft picks to get the players needed. I think some of us forget that this is the beginning of the rebuild and it's gonna take some time. I think the excitement that KP6 brought to the team has made us forget that this is still a rebuild that we're in and it will be at least two more years until we/re really any good.
