Knicks · Game Thread: Knicks @ Bulls...lets start the new year off right! (page 8)

Bulls are pushing the Knicks off their spots - they're receiving passes about 3-4 feet off where they want to be catching them.

He's too quick for Melo (and most nba SF) - Lance is their best matchup on him.

Same starting 5....lets see if its the same starting result. Based on history, our 1st and 3rd quarters have terrible starts. Old legs take a while to warm up Fisher......So guess what happens when you have a starting 5 of old legs. They should feature KP at the start of the 1st and 3rd quarters.

Starting slow is a norm for the Knicks

The issues are with Phil's longer contracted players. Gonna be tough to make changes. Lopez seems to be mismatched with any team that has a big that can step out which is nearly every night, and Calderon....is actually playing well tonite, but cant really count on him.

Not really worried about Jose or RoLo. As long as Phil can bring in younger talent at guard I expect their to be improvement.

they are our biggest issues.

melo is just not in this game. this is where he needs TO LEAD

To protect melo's alleged great defense.

My gut feeling is the only major improvement will be in Fisher's coaching and sub strategy, like that quick timeout and sub.

Lance in for AA again after the timeout.

Butler is the Bulls SG. It's not like he's their SF and Melo isn't playing him.

terribl pass by melo geezus

Good sub getting Lance in for AA

Knicks defense looks miles better as soon as Lance comes in.

Thats going to be a common theme.....Just my guess, based on AA's slow start lately and flat jumpshot. I think his legs are starting to show their age.

Bulls arent really running a conventional lineup. they dont have an actual pg or sf in the starting lineup/
