Knicks · Miami Game Thread: Wade quote to remember "officiating errors in our favor don't really bother me." (page 8)

Hold up..so if the triangle is about total basketball, then every other team runs the triangle then right?
Sorry Nix, but I am not quite understanding what you are saying man..

All this triangle talk is becoming really square.

Because the Triangle System is about total basketball . . . and not just the Triangle Sets

YUP! There's so much more!

Okay...if you have Tex's handwritten Triangle plays, we all will bow down and defer to your superior basketball knowledge. We are not worthy.

(p.s. I have pringles' offensive playbook

We?? You have a mouse in your pocket?? Leave me out of these childish arguments about how much triangle we run.

A win here would be so fantastic. Would make a statement to the league beat the Hawks and the Heat back to back

I have amare's defensive handbook

Amare hasn't seen that book since he was 5 years old.

stop! he is an idiot

What?? JVG is awesome. I love listening to him do the games and i wanted him back coaching the Knicks at one time to.

um... he was not being serious

kumbaya and all that.

meanwhile melo's bully ball continues... at this rate we will have a 10+ pt lead going to the 4th 2 days in a row

And Triangle Culture (Jackson) . . . is even more than the Triangle System (Ritter et al)

It's not about shapes! It's about unselfishness, focus, trust, fundamentals...

I just get tired of reading comments about this offense from people that wouldn't recognize if the Knicks ran "Blind Pig" instead of feeding the post. Tex ran PnR within the Triangle sets with the Bulls. The offense has a lot of normal BBALL plays within the overarching system.

It's simple . . . if you want to understand.

Triangle Culture (created by Phil Jackson) has as part of it . . . the Triangle System (created by Tex Ritter) which has as parts of it . . . both the Triangle Sets . . . and other basketball fundamentals.

Melo the facilitator makes him and our team much better.

Ummmmmmmm seriously?? Come on now. The Heat have much more talent than us and i don't give a crap if they're aging cause they aren't too old right now.

So True .. plus D.Wade aging system works better than ours .. Im happy were able to hold a lead for two qtr.

It's simple! The Triple Post Offense is an entire system and not just one play! There are a different set of rules than most other systems. They don't really rely on plays per se but they have actions and reads. You can run a PnR out of Pinch Post or at the top or even out of a Side Triangle look.

The last 2 1/2 games?? Have you not been watching all the Games this year?? He's been playing all around basketball the whole season but the last few games show more cause we've been playing well.

He's been playing better as the season has gone on, but the last two games against Atlanta and the 1st half of this game, he is playing exceptional making every one of his teammates better by playing the facilitator then the late game closer.

He's been playing that way. He almost had a triple double like 2/3 weeks ago. We just haven't been playing well and can't get shots to go down and when that happens you can't get assists.
