People may not realize how well he is playing. He does not miss that many shots and does not turn the ball over. He is not a speedster but he settles everything down and is also playing a bit better defensively.
Anyone who thinks that a guy like tony wroten would be a better option than him is nuts
jose completely outplayed dragic tonight and teague in 2 straight games.
His defense has looked more bearable and he his getting much more shots now. Great stuff by him.

no chance he gets traded playing like this

Perfect time to trade him and I'm serious. This might be his most valuable point. Honestly if he can continue to play aggressively and look to score his efficiency will actually be an asset. He was around a 12% ish which is Tyson Chandler territory. You can't have your starting PG with a ish comparable to what Prigs used to do.

nobody else can run this offense. If jose goes out for too long we are a complete mess. He is not prigs at all and he is getting more and more aggressive.

Absolutely not. Jimmer Freddette is Steve Kerr at worst

then how about Nate Walters?
He is still garbage on defense. He finally made the decision to shoot the ball, which finally makes him an asset. Early on he was not scoring nor stoping the opposing PGs

The only differences from Jose and Pablo are age, minutes played, and Pablo was a slightly better defender at age 35 and 36 than Pablo ever has been in his career.
take a look and find something dramatically different in Pablo's 1st two years.

We must not make the same mistake we have done in the past. Just because a player is on a good stretch of games does not mean we ignore the dozens of games in which they played bad. We must still work on getting another guard in case Jose goes back to playing poorly.

prigs could not get any shots off and though efficient, he did not have that much production.

sure we need another guard. and probably more because we are getting zero out of grant.
Is he playing well because he wants to leave or stay?

he is playing well because he finally has teammates that he can trust

It's the same production per minute almost. Also, Prigs could get his shot off he just chose not too just like Jose. Yes, Jose maybe able to finish at the rim better but what good is it when he barely does it.
Like I said when your starting PG has a usg under 12 it basically handicaps his ultra high efficiency.
This is pretty much the kind of player he had been most of his career. He's old but smart and he's helping the team function and execute the offense properly.

Yes...his trade value will never be higher than right now...unload that contract! He will not sustain this.
