You mean side triangle post feed? BASKETBALL! The idea isn't to look to setup the Side Triangle! The idea is to score as easily as possible. So it's a good thing if you see easy scores even without side triangle every time. Besides there are tons of other game highlights to look at if you wanna see side triangle execution in particular.

Dunno. Looks like that floater is well developed and comfortable for him, a nice shot which is underdefended in the NBA and could translate. But the opposing defense is so weak, he would be feeling much more pressure on all his movement. Could see him be disrupted and stymied more consistently by tall NBA athletes. He looks small.

Principle yes but how you look to achieve this is different and the Rules of the Triple Post Offense are different from other offenses. The spots players fill, screens set and cuts made in particular are different, so that if the defense stops the early score you can flow quickly into the half court offense which as we all know is rather unique.
I could explain in greater specifics if you want. There are actual rules for transition in this offense that are not alway perceived by those watching but with stills I could point out what they look to do. They don't always flow right into the Side Triangle and this is why some assume it's something different or new but it's just another part of the TRIPLE POST OFFENSE.

Have asked this more than once in other formulations...Is Jimmer the kind of guy who can contribute in small doses when he's not able to dominate with the ball?
He might be a player who needs to get into a rhythm to be effective...not sure Fisher would give him freedom to do this.
Have to think that Phil and Fisher have scouted him enough to know what he might be able to do for us, and they'll act accordingly.

I agree. The video footage shows him as a ball handler. I like his ability to convert, but in college this dude use to be a shooter. His court vision is nice and he has deceptive speed

No guarantees, of course . . . but he looks like a GREAT possibility compared to other alternatives:

With all these highlights I don't see his complete game on both ends. Also the score was very close and I just wonder if he affects the wins and loses of a team or is he just a stat stuffer. The competition looks very weak.....similar to what I see in the gym. Jimmer and Grant are completely different players. But its worth seeing jimmer come up and Grant go down. I'm not sure how or if he will impact the game with limited minutes and ball touches. But I can see why some teams are passing on him. And some teams see him as a system guy. I used to be all in but now I'm on the fense. With or without him....the knicks are getting better. I still think Grant has more overall potential as a two PG.

We need to trade Calderon and bring in Fredette. Let him and Grant develop together. Fredette has younger legs then Calderon and at this point is the better player. Calderon may be a more mature player, but so what. We have a great group of dudes On the roster, guys who can lead. We won't miss Calderon

This team is probably having dreams of a playoff run at this point.
I think Grant will develop, but why entrust a team to him and a guy who has been tossed around the league and whose only success came in college when he was the ball dominant, shoot whenever and wherever you are guard?
I could live with giving him a 10 day deal to see how he can fit in, but right now there is no way I would trade any player we presently have to open up a spot for Jimmer, and Jackson would say the same thing if he took time from eating his macrobiotic salad and drinking his green tea to answer you.
Calderon is far from perfect, but he seems to be getting into a groove (even showing a midrange game and attacking the basket, for goodness sake) and even playing some D at times.
Have to play the hand you have right now, especially considering our recent success. Things might have been different if we had only 6 wins right now, but there is no way you set a place at the table for a player like Jimmer at this time.

I don't think that he can defend like deladova but his build and the way he moves reminds me of him
Deladova is a kamikazee which makes him a good defender. He would have not problem passing out and getting rushed to the hospital after each game.
