exactly. You me and mreinman are the only people who understand old melo and new melo. The old melo wouldnt pass. The new melo has made those passes and the defensive plays. Im very happy with his play
Ummmmmmmm huh??? Hahahahaha yeah nobody else notices the big change in Melo. LOL
he didn't really change. His teammates changed
His teammates, coaching and his GM/President changed and in return he has changed.
MELO most surely has a fuller grasp of this offense and defense and how he can impact his teammates positively by setting them up! This is what Phil was talking about when he said there was another level MELO could take his game too.
this is what many of us were talking about when complaining about what melo is not doing and what he was capable of doing
So you're saying that there actually were people on here that don't think Melo is playing better/smarter than he used to play??
yes
Well those people should be taken out back and shot.

Substitute Melo for Peter and you have the Starks, Nix, and einman trio. Who's who?

i didnt think it was that big of deal. I was just naming a few people who were saying something similar
It's not that's why I'm trying to provide some levity
its cool

thats fine but don't like the apologists that blame his lack of passing before this on his teammates. He played with many better teams than this. The only year that he passed even close is when MDA forced him too and he hated it but he got more assists.
this
Unlike how MELO reacted when MDA asked him to play like this, this time he's fully bought in, rather than reluctant. Makes all the difference in the world.
I think Phil has the most to do with that but i'll also give credit to Fisher cause even though some don't like him it's tough to get a star player to change his game for the good of the team.
absolutely
Melo feeling lonely...wanted to join the Block Party...
