Knicks · Fisher earning his stripes (page 1)
We sure that walton would be a better coach?
I'm really starting to believe that phil is actually smarter than me.

I would. He is doing better the last 5 games. His return from the Utah game perhaps triggered something from the front office and that helped him to settle his rotation

That's not true! Some of us expressed that he had shown signs of being able to coach. We understood that early on he was trying to see what he had at the same time learning how to use his team. We still don't know just how good Fish will be as a coach but he's growing in the job.

you keep saying that and it has absolutely no validity. i get it though - gotta throw dirt on fisher somehow. pathetic.

just because I started it does not mean that I will stoop to except silly statements like
anyone who actually has patience would know that eventually fisher would turn into a good coach
statements like that are so silly and baseless. Nobody knows anything. Almost impossible to predict these things. Thats like saying that anyone who watched THJ in college knows that he will be a great player.

All I hear from these guys is how Nixluva is always wrong! Then when things actually work out as I stated, they say it's just a fluke! Well that's not the case when you break down into detail how you think things will work out. Some of us just understood what was really going on and it's not about just throwing positive crap at the wall. Saying that is just a lame way to avoid giving credit.

Please, Phil could have trotted out a head of lettuce as head coach and you would be on board 100 percent.

Me, too. In Phil we trust, I guess.
Though I never hated Fisher as much as some on here. I did doubt the hell out of Phil after the Tyson trade and the KP draft - at least until summwe league.

Yeah that's what I'd expect from you! I'm quite comfortable with my statements in threads which fully support what I'm saying. I was very fair in my assessment of Fish. I called him an average coach at this stage of his career. Nothing Pollyanna about that but keep on spouting your nonsense anyway. I back up the things I post with facts and reason.
A month ago I was really on Fisher and thought he wasn't making progress. However I've seen major improvement. It took him time, but he figured out a 9 man rotation. He used practices to get the team better on offense. And he used the press to call out the team and it worked. All signs of a good coach in the making.

If you were more willing to admit when you got things wrong, you might not be seen as a homer. Fisher was coaching like someone who was unsure of himself, which is why he was changing up things that were working, not because of some brilliant plan.
I said that Fisher needs to do a better job of making decisions for me to want him back in NY, and he's starting to, but there is still half a season to go. Im happy with his and the team's progress, but Im still waiting to see how things shake out. Doesn't make me a hater.
It was such a no brainer

yeah right. You had the rotation down but those damn fuking idiots are clueless still tinkering with an already working prototype ... nice

I admit being wrong all the time! Besides that isn't an excuse for someone to try and belittle what I contribute to the forum. I tried to help people understand the Triangle and some including you kept pissing on what I was writing! There was no reason for any of that.

Not really, its usually like extracting teeth. You talk down to people a lot, thats what usually does it, even if you have just been proven to be wrong. Not trying to make it sound like you are the only poster who does stuff to piss people off, we all have.
Sometimes posters disagree with you because of a difference of opinion, not because they dont understand what you're saying.
