When the Celts had the ball on that possession, I thought they were going to shoot a 4-pointer for a 5 point play.

agree!
This was one of the first games I've actually screamed a lot at my TV. Playoffs intensity!
Great game by Jerian Grant. Hopefully huge for his confidence.
We're gonna need it tomorrow - Melo probably out against Brooklyn.

He got time because his play warranted it.
What a game from Grant.
16 pts

Ladies and gentlemen, Jerian Grant has officially arrived as a Knick. With Melo out, he carried the team in the 4th quarter. He had the ball in his hands during crunch time and made all the plays. His penetration gave the Celts fit. 5-6 from the field..18 points and 6 assists. Fish showed confidence in him and he delivered. It's finally time for Grant to play a much larger role on this team.

Man I am so pumped by this win! Jerian came thru to make it even sweeter!

most impressive win of the season considering we were missing melo and kp for most of the game. If KP stayed out of foul trouble he may have had a chance at 40
Grant 16pts 8ast
DWill 15pts 10rebs
Afflalo 24pts 3rebs
Huge games from those guys with Melo out and KP limited

He needs to sit until his ankle is at least 90% if not 100%
Grant is becoming a player. That's going to be a plus for the second half.
This is the type of gutsy win without our star against a division rival that can propel us into the playoffs.

This was a unbelievable win for us. This will give the guys so much confidence and Grant.....what can i say about him.
Team believes in themselves. They didnt go into a funk as their two best players sat. Its an essential ingredient for a playoff run.
I know KP still has to get stronger overall, but you can tell that his core is stronger. Is able to absorb contact, better, and still finish.

sometimes you need to let rookies play through mistakes otherwise they wont get better. I have been a big fan of his since college, he is gonna be a good nba pg
afflalo gets the game ball. He stopped the bleeding and I have new respect from him after this game.
Jerian Grant

There YOU GO COACH Mr. Fisher !
Your starting freaking PG Jerian Grant
forget his up and downs, he merits some playing time now
Grant rookie wins! this game hands down for knickerbockers.
Player of the game, KP Out (fouls), Melo Out (injury). Are ya kidding me?
If stinking refs gave Knicks more continuation calls , NY would have had
small cusion at the end.
Jose Calderone = 0 pts?
Let J.GRANT START !!!!! Now
Holy geez...what a good feeling to beat the Celts in this kind of game, and maybe this becomes a springboard for Grant becoming a real part of the rotation, and not just a guy you throw in to give someone a few minutes rest.

Hats off to Fish for basically forcing Jerian to take charge of this game!!!
