It'd be really nice to have Lance for this game to try. But yeah, I hope Langston or Grant are on him to end the game.
The problem is that nobody on the Knicks can defend C.Paul and i don't think anyone in the game can guard him. He put up 30 points and 9 assists on Kyrie last night and he's one of the better defenders at the PG position. No way can Gallo or Grant guard him. Teams need to play help defense when you're playing a point guard like him and you don't have any point guards that can guard him one on one.
Yes...Paul is a really great player and is extremely hard to guard for anyone; however, it's a lot easier for him to get around Jose who is so slow footed than say a Gallo or a Grant. Calderon doesn't have the physical tools to keep him in front of him, and he shouldn't be asked to do that, either, by the coach.

U guys remember BB King? This post reminded me of one of his songs.
No one loves me but my mother, and she might be jiving too
he actually accompanied himself on piano on that cut.
Awesome I didn't know that.

Someone explain to me why jose is guarding paul in the last defensive possession coming out of the timeout? Paul took it all the way to the rim and luckily Melo helped and changed the shot. Another example of dumb coaching.
You just don't get it and i don't think you ever will. I'll bet you're pretty young aren't you??
Can anyone explain - when KP gets fed in the post, why is there always another guy on the strong side, why the fcuk is not anyone sent off to the weakside? Is it some new concept of how to make it work by fish the genius?

This is why I'd try to pressure him and trap him! Just go all out to make him have to give up the ball or slow down. He's just doing whatever he wants with no pressure.

Has to be poor execution. They shouldn't be bunched up.

He was like 1 for 5 earlier. And I was like what? He's destroying us
We might be better trying to keep Jordan 5 feet out and guarding the 3 pt line. And not getting hypnotized by the ball (leaving guys open)
These guys are beatable. But we need a solid 24 minutes.
We can't let guys like Wes Johnson light us up or even Jordan.
Not a fan of doubling cp3 because they'll find the open guy.
Take your lumps from him but not The other guys.
D is awful tonight. No energy except for Dwill.
I like KP better on TV.

agree with this...CP3 and DeAndre are gonna get theirs...so also jj redick. stop crawful, rivers, pierce, johnson

just because you're a pro doesn't mean you're a smart basketball player. knicks are going to have to get better at recognizing the situation by looking at film.

Fisher is showing us now, that he is not the coach we want in the playoffs
I hope we have a better second half

So you're telling me it was a good idea following the timeout during the last defensive possession to have jose guarding Paul? Okay.

Well Jordan is an artifact of cp3 and jj Wes and pierce.
They're not creating their own shots. They're feeding off cp3 and swinging the ball

Oh my goodness why is this so hard to understand?? He's still gonna go right around Gallo and Grant to so what's it matter if it's a little harder to get around them cause just like Jose needs help with him so don't Gallo and Grant. Jose is our best point guard at this time so he will be playing starter minutes and unfortunately that means he will be guarding the other teams starting point guard and there's no way around that until we get a good point guard on this team which we don't have right now. We all know that Gallo is a better defender than Jose but he's not a good player that should be starting.
Rebeca Harlow...
Is that some kind of Batwoman formal wear or something from Star Wars?
We got lucky. Our guards need to snag the owe deep offensive rebounds. No way pierce should've got that
