Why is the NY media always looking for validation everytime a team comes to visit the Garden? They write so much abo ut the kid, it nauseates me.

We have a lot more than just KP going on in NY; I think it is about time the media shines the light on the rest of the team

But regarding NY Media - It is not about truth, it is about selling. And if they can sell more through division, then so be it.

The media interviews players before and after every game. Of course Porzingis is going to come up. I've seen plenty of players bring him up without prompting. He's an exciting young player and the main thing most opposing players know about this team this season.

Media mostly asks them what they think of KP.

It's been a long time since we had a seriously good rookie like KP.

Media just looking for stories and going with the "hot hand."

When Jimmer comes up from the DL and Jimmsanity begins, KP will get a well deserved rest from all the media attention.

Be glad they aren't making fun of the team as they've done relentlessly for more than a decade. I like seeing a Knick get this much attention for doing good.

KP is definitely the big story. I also suspect that the question is asked in case someone has the cajones to say: "he's OK, nothing amazing yet" or any minor criticism so the back pages can go wild... but I may just be cyncial with that.

Just think, somewhere on a thread someone is lamenting that they should have taken KP instead of XXXXXX, or in Orlando that the GM was unable to secure him with a lower pick the year before.
At some point teams will make a repeat visit and the love will be over.

We missed on Curry, but somewhere some missed on KP.........
KP is the most athletic and fundamentally sound player over 7-1 in a long long time and at 7-3 this kid is a "Unicorn"!!!
