Then fisher told him to get back to his comfort zine and not worty so much about the triangle. The next couple of games we started seeing the old grant from preseason and SL. Then he got a DNP COACHES DECISION AFTER A GOOD OUTTING THE GAME PRIOR. That im sure fcked with his confidence.

I can agree that his play has been as inconsistent as his minutes, but other then that, I am not sure what you are talking about. Just from a stat perspective, his asst numbers are good but he does turn the ball over and his shooting % is worse then bad. I had to check his stats because I don't know what DNP you are talking about. I had to go back to 12/27/15 to find one. Are you talking about the Charlotte game where he shot 0-6 in 9 min and Fisher pulled him. As far as shooting %, it looks like either feast or famine, but mostly famine. When he starts trying to score and failing he gets the pulled. Probably hard to build a rhythm being on a short leash but maybe if he had some confidence he would get more run?

Honestly, after looking into Mike Brey's motion offense and Grant's role at ND, I can see why he is a square peg in a round hole here. Grant would be killing it in Miami's offense....maybe they'll swap Grant for Winslow

Grant is in tough spot.
NBA is awash with quality guards and a lot of them can score lights out.
He does not looking like a dude who can get things in a hurry. He have to take his time.
I do not expect him to be any good until next season.
And if he will not pull it together by then ever.
If we draft him it does not mean he will be anything for us or for any other team for that matter.

Really saw the offense completely break down with Grant in that 1st half. He doesn't run the Triangle well at all. Seems he's good if you run P/R with him keeping the dribble, other than that, I see little improvement from him. Sad, because I really like his potential as a 2-way player. Grant should work hard on just moving the ball right away - but do that he needs to have confidence in his off the ball game, which he doesn't have much of. The best thing may be to simply change what we do on the 2nd unit. Instead of trying to run the Triangle (Which they don't even do well) push the ball and play more popular high screen/roll high tempo basketball. Grant would fit into that really well.
