He would be an ideal triangle offense point guard. He contributes in every category. Not sure we have enough to make a deal though.
Maybe something like D.Williams,J.Grant,& K.Seraphin for Evans & Babbot???

An ideal triangle guard passes well, has a good bball IQ and shoots well from the perimeter right? Does he have all of those boxes checked?

I would take a chance on Evan for that package of Knick players, dude is still young. Not only would he be our best point guard, but our best shooting guard as well.

Tyreke is not a good shooter, but so was Pippen early on. Pippen relied a lot more on his athleticism to get his points by attacking the basket. I am a little worried about tyreke 's knees. If Stephenson was not a coocoo, he would have been a better fit

I would take a chance on Stephenson as well. He would definitely come cheaper. Phil had Rodman, it's really about getting his game back. Which he had when handling the ball.

What is his role? As a swing player, or 2nd/3rd option at the SG spot who can play spot PG'S duty? Ok. Tyrese isn't a good defender. Maybe as the guard version of Derrick Williams. I like Stephenson but he would have to play more the Ron Artest on the Lakers role for this team at the 2/3 if he can refine his jumper and we play a Porzingis-Melo-Stephenson front court.

I would say no thanks to Tyreke.
