Knicks may be able to slide in as a 3rd team in some trade. I know that doesn't sound exciting but it could still be beneficial depending on what we get. There always seems to be a need for a 3rd team at the Trade Deadline.
Having that open spot and the rights to the euro have to help as well.
Have to believe that the Knicks would not throw Hernangomez' rights into a trade unless we were making a significant upgrade. At this point, a happy KP is an imperative, and I feel that Hernangomez was drafted because he was a good fit as a player AND as a friend of KPs.

^now this is quite reasonable.
As far as Hawk trio , all three are desirable . PG most needed and Teague can breakdown defenders unlike anyone on our roster. Neither a Galloway or Calderon on D but be a plus. FA after next yr. Horford will be FA this yr so may be cheaper than inherent value. Millsap has twice a fa and would have been the perfect complement to Melo but never heard of pursuit. Ahhh, if only we had assets
Only player we need is Teague. He would fit well here since he's already running a semi system offense in Atlanta. He's the talent we are missing.
We don't have any room for Horford or Milsap. Kristaps matches up well against both players, so does Melo with edge to the Knicks
