I don't think Jennings will re-sign in Orlando this summer. I think he just became our #1 most realistic summer free agent.
I wonder if the Grizz are gonna trade Conley? Are they gonna blow it up and try to maximize their draft pick for this season with Gasol out? ZBO leaving as a FA this summer or next?
Oh, interesting. Chris Andersen being involved makes it seem more like the Grizz were trying to acquire a big man to cover for Gasol being out.
I hope Phil contacted Memphis with an offer of Seraphin or KOQ...

One of the picks will be heavily protected.
The Grizzlies will acquire four second round picks in total.
Lee is in the final season of his contract.
I think this deal gives people a baseline of what AA value might be. AA might even be more highly respected. AA and Lee are nearly the same kind of player even down to their age, Lee is 12 days older.
I trust Phil called everyone. He's not asleep at the wheel. Teams just don't want to trade with us. All these trades so far prove that. Garbage

not a bad nucleus
Detroit is putting together a nice group. It's a bad trade for orlando as far as a return in talent, but Skiles gets guys he knows and is comfortable with, so i guess thats the reason. Still a steal for SVG and Detroit.

maybe we simply dont have anything interesting to trade for. Cant be mad at other teams, theyre trying to do whats best for them to. Unfortunetly this is the result of many bad trades for 15 years. Thankfully we were able to draft a stud in porzingis ONLY because we werent allowed to trade the pick
Always suspicious when a team wants to move a young high lottery pick like Oladipo, and Napier is already a cast-off from a previous team, but Oladipo is a pretty good defender, and still a young guy, and while Aflalo has been a good player for us- his many limitations are evident.
Would have to trust Phil on this trade if there is any truth to it.
Hesitant to give up another 1st Rnd pick unless it is very well protected.
Rubio's offense is still sporadic, and he's not as quick as he once was...wonder how he would fit within our offense.
Not a fan of Jennings... but I know many like him around here.
Once again...I'm not giving up a #1 for a retread player unless the pick is really protected.
Memphis has traded several times with Miami this year. They got Chalmers and now Andersen.
It's funny when you see those patterns where the same front offices or GMs make trades with one another all the time

Dude, Courtney Lee for Harrison and 4 second round picks? That's garbage bro.
I'm not hating on other teams. I want the league to be competitive.... but the argument that Phil is sleep and we have no assets? That's weak. Teams just would rather fuck up their own team with other franchises

I know there is some speculation that Blake could go to Boston because of Doc/Ainge. I think Blake might not get moved until the summer at this point.

Skiles doesn't like Harris.
Skiles likes Ilyasova and Jennings.
Skiles coached all three guys before.
They're trading Oladipo so need another PG.
Aaron Gordon will get minutes at PF and is about to blow up.
Yeah...another trade has to be in the works.

garbage or not you cant get mad at other teams for not trading with us. Lets be honest the knicks have a reputation for making dumb trades.

Hopefully the Knicks are trying to get on an Oladipo deal. Channing Frye is also supposed to be available.

Yeah, I think it'd be hard to move Blake when he's injured - at least hard to get the premium price they'll surely want for him.
I think this summer Blake for Melo could be a real discussion between the teams. I don't really like Blake, but it's a trade that makes too much sense to not be at least discussed.
Who knows though - we'll prob hear tomorrow he's traded somewhere crazy.

What would we send them back? Afflalo and Lance? Hmmm... maybe...
