Here's the problem. Even when Jose penetrates in the lane, no one takes him seriously because they know he's not going to shoot it, and he gets into trouble. SMH.

Felt we played better than the score indicates, should be up more than 2.
Nets also seem to play at a higher intensity when they face us.

Jose caldron should not be in the NBA ... Dude needs to hang it up. What's the point of the pick and roll when Jose can not get the ball to the roll man.. Plus he can't even drive in the lane and create ... What is this old man doing out there

That's for sure. Afflalo's 1 on 1 stuff has all but gone, we're playing far more team ball with everyone being aggressive in looking to both pass and shoot.
However I'm worried about the defense a bit. We don't seem to defend very well - can't recall the last time we had a truly great defensive game.

As side from Melo and KP everyone should be taken put of their miseries. Funny how so many a holes on this board thought we should trade Melo for draft picks and more of the same rejects from.other teams. Would just love seeing a whole bunch of Grants, Dwills, and D league rejects out there. And I'm sure KP would get a shot surrounded by that kind of trash. Have any of the guys Phil brought in to help Melo scored a basket?

As long as Jose is out there at point guard, our defense will struggle to get stops. I hope Rambo is smart enough to realize that he does not belong on the court as the lead guard in the last 5 minutes bc he is a defensive liability.

Uh, RoLo is 4-6, Afflalo is 3-5 and Jose is 2-6 - all guys Phil brought in. Offensively Melo has enough to work with if they move the ball and run a good system like we've seen with Rambis so far. However it's the defense and the bench that are of bigger concerns to winning around Melo in the immediate term.
